Another Christmas is upon us already. 2025 has been a difficult year for many. Thankyou to all our customers , suppliers & trade friends for the continued support & hard work throughout the year. From myself & Russell , we wish you a Merry Christmas & a happy healthy New Year. We open again on Monday 5th January, cheers.

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my Mum Louisa on 23/4/25. It was with her encouragement & hard work that got the garage started up in 1994 & she was still working hard up until September last year keeping things in order. She will be sorely missed by many.

Big birthday for JMM today. 30 years of blood sweat & tears. Thankyou to all our customers old & new for supporting a small local business. Biggest thanks goes to my mum Louisa for being there for me through the good times & the bad & for keeping the garage books in top order over the last 30 years, I honestly couldn’t have done any of this without her help & encouragement. She has now taken a step back & retired & wish her all the best. Also a big thankyou to previous employees, Scott Crighton & the late Richard Johnson. Then there is Russell , who as a schoolboy first showed up looking for a Saturday job valeting sales cars. After his apprenticeship & working for jaguar as a technician in aberdeen, made the move back to JMM & has been part of the team for the last 18 years. This is a tough trade to be in these days & can be very testing at times so I can’t thank him enough for sticking with me all this time. Of course it wouldn’t run at all if it wasn’t for the parts suppliers & trade contacts either, so a big thankyou to them also. So that’s it really, I don’t know where the time has gone but thanks again to everyone & all the best 👍

We had to say goodbye to our wee pal yesterday. I’m sure some of our customers will have met him over the last year or so when in at the garage.He certainly was not shy at introducing himself & was the most vocal, friendly & funniest cat I’ve ever met & brought a smile to our faces no matter how crap a day we were having. He would spend hours sleeping in the cosy office or sitting on car engines to get a heat on a cold day & always popped in for his daily dreamies 😋😋. Sleep tight Sid 🐾

As technical as cars have become over the years, they still require tyre pressures to be checked. The pressures for each car are usually on a sticker as you open drivers door. Either on door edge or pillar of car or sometimes inside fuel filler flap. Also found in vehicle handbook where you will also find the procedure to reset dash warning light. Some will need this reset procedure but some will recalibrate as you drive. All cars are different. Hope this helps to explain the way tyre pressure sensors operate.

Well thats JMM made it to 25 years folks. Huge thank you for all the support from every single one of our customers over the years & all the suppliers & friends in the trade who have helped make it all happen. Most of all i would like to thank all the staff past & present for all the hard work & keeping the wheels turning.
