Over the bank holiday weekend, while most took a break, we were putting the hours in re-freshing our own Bmw e90 daily for M.O.T. Due to our work load being busy, this meant our own car got a bit neglected.

A complete Re-fresh on the rear end replacing 90% of components including subframe and all arms, shocks breaks ect... meaning we can now keep this one going for many more years.

We've recently carried out an engine replacement on this Vw Crafter, due to failing M.O.T from excessive smoke. Our diagnostic showed that some cylinders where down on compression. Unfortunately further tests showed that the engine required a full rebuild or a new replacement supplied. A complete shock being that this motor has only covered 47,000 miles. New unit supplied and fitted, and has now passed its M.O.T with ease.

So yesterday we were at in Bedford, we were lucky enough to win a competition that we didn't even know we was entered into, until we had an email saying we'd won something, so it was a huge surprise!!

It's been an extremely long time since ive done anything motorsports related, but wasn't there to set times, was a day to just relax and enjoy driving a wide range of cars that if I'd never won this competition, would have probably never gone and took the chance to go and do.

So massive thanks to who made this happen and and there team for making things like this possible.

The vehicle came in for a routine oil and filter change. As part of our standard inspection process, we carry out a thorough check-over on every vehicle that enters the workshop.

During the inspection, we discovered that the front brake pads had started to de-laminate and separate from the backing plates. Had this gone unnoticed for much longer, it could have resulted in a serious braking failure, putting the customer at significant risk.

This is a great example of why regular vehicle inspections are so important — sometimes they uncover issues that aren’t immediately obvious but could have major safety consequences.
