Here a couple of the many jobs in this week, along with about 70 MOT tests!
This blue Lexus was in for a routine timing belt change. The full kit comes with a spring loaded tensioner and pulleys. A water pump change is standard procedure with this and with pretty much any timing belt.
Also the white VW Caddy came in for a faulty injector. These are designed with one clamp holding 2 injectors and unfortunately, both injectors were completey seized in. A lot of brute force, and a broken clamp and we managed to remove them, but this was certainly one of the worse we've seen for a while!
Two new injectors, a clamp and bolt, some injector coding and an annual service. All back for the weekend.
We are super busy throughout almost all of March already, so if you have routine services, MOTs or anything else ypu know is round the corner for your vehicle, get in touch! It won't be long before we are booking into April!

Well it's been a hot minute since we posted anything on social media, the main reason being the fact we are super busy! So a belated Happy New Year to everyone, let's show you a job we are seeing more and more of.
This is a Ford Transit Custom 2.0 diesel. In their wisdom, Ford (and many other manufacturers) have started to put cambelts inside the engine where the oil is, coining the term 'wetbelt'.
This happened after around 2016 for the Transit, making many now due and possibly overdue a timing belt. Without regular oil changes and maintenence, the belt degrades quickly, belt particles block the oil pick up and ultimately will cause massive engine failure. All because someone decided to put a rubber belt in oil.
The job requires the glued on engine cover and sump to be prized off, belt timed up as usual and replaced, oil pump belt replaced then all cleaned spotlessly and resealed with all new covers and drive belts.
There is also the option to replace the oil pump and even water pump, while the van is in bits.

This is the 2nd one this week, and more to follow.

Hello all!
We've not posted in a while, it's been a busy time here since August when we last did any social media of any kind!
Last Friday, 1st November, we celebrated 1 year in our new premises!🥳
What a year its been! We've settled in really well here and can't thank everyone enough for their continued support and custom🙏

You can't even see the buried EGR cooler once the starter motor and everything else is back in on this Vivaro..
And check out the old one, with coolant residue on the outside..not long before this would start leaking coolant externally.
