It’s been another incredibly busy week here at A38 Caravans & Motorhomes! 🚐🔧

Mal has been flat out carrying out two engine services – a brand new service we’re now offering! 👏 Alongside that he’s been busy with caravan and motorhome servicing, service repairs, fitting a motor mover, installing a diesel heater to a customers van, and replacing a leaky roof strap.

Gary has been tackling a major damp repair to the rear of a motorhome – around 70% of the structural timbers have been removed and replaced, with new wallboard now being fitted.

Eisley has stripped the front of a caravan – removing all three windows, the front rail, and all affected structural timbers. It’s now ready for a brand new timber structure before new wallboard goes in and the rail and windows refitted.

Victor has been working on another motorhome damp repair where the structural timbers have been replaced and the floor fully rebuilt. He’s now reinforcing the timbers for holding the step.

Dave has also been busy on a motorhome damp repair – removing all old wallboard and refitting new, taking out the window and fitting new rubbers. He’s now refitting the bathroom internals and this job will soon be complete.

A huge team effort this week keeping our customers’ vans safe, dry and road-ready! 👍

🚐 Another busy week at A38 Caravans & Motorhomes! 🔧

It’s been all hands on deck again this week with plenty of great progress across the workshop:

🔨 Eisley & Gary have made fantastic headway on a damp repair – all structural timbers have now been replaced, with new wallboard and ceiling board going back in. This repair is nearing completion and coming together really well.

🛠 Victor has been tackling another damp repair, alongside completing a plastic weld and GRP roof repair on a caravan.

💧 Mal has been hard at work rebuilding a campervan water system from scratch. The vehicle came to us after ongoing leaks from a previous installer, and it’s now being put right properly.

🚙 Dave has been stripping out and replacing wheel arch tubs, as well as handling warranty claims for several customers across different manufacturers.

⚙️ On top of that, we’ve been busy with our day-to-day servicing, general repairs, and accessory fitting.

🔨🚐 Progress update from the workshop at A38 Caravans & Motorhomes!

This week we’ve made great progress on one of our damp repairs 👇

✔ All old wall board removed
✔ Structural timbers fully replaced, restoring strength and integrity
✔ Now as good as new 💪

Next step 👉 new window rubbers being fitted, and then this job will be complete and ready for the road!

🔧🚐 What’s been happening this week at A38 Caravans & Motorhomes?

It’s been another busy one in the workshop! Here’s a quick rundown 👇

1️⃣ Victor has been cracking on with a damp repair, replacing structural timbers and wall board to bring the caravan back to as good as new.

2️⃣ Eisley and Gary have been busy jointly working on a huge damp repair we have in. All old wall board is being cut out, structural timbers replaced with new. Window rubbers are being replaced and the cause of the leak has been repaired.

3️⃣ Mal has been servicing motorhomes, caravans and completing service repairs. He has also had a camper van come in after a customer had a previous conversion fail. Mal has stripped the van out, laid new ply wood flooring ready for vinyl and the rock and roll bed to be refitted, look out for our post of the complete job!

4️⃣ Dave has been in the office busy dealing with warranty claims whilst Wendy has been manning the phones, answering emails and booking in services and repairs.

Great teamwork from our 5 engineers getting these jobs moved along 💪

🔧🚐 This week in the workshop at A38 Caravans & Motorhomes…

A customer brought their van to us after a previous poor conversion had caused the flooring to peel and fail 😬

✅ We’ve fully stripped the van out
✅ Installed brand-new ply flooring for a solid, long-lasting base

Next up 👉 a new vinyl floor will be laid and the rock & roll bed refitted, ready to get this van back on track 💪
