Axholme's Axholme’s started over 25 years ago with one simple mission: to create reliable, accurate stencils for restorers and enthusiasts.

We are based in South Yorkshire in the UK, however we can ship stencils almost anywhere in the world and have a large international customer base. Having been in business for over 25 years we understand your needs and have a large amount of pre-designed stencils on record. Specialising in Custom Made Military Vehicle Stencils, means we are able to give you the stencil you require whether it be something unique to you or an off the shelf template. You can have the size, style and font you require and if you have no idea what you want we can advise you. Recognition isn’t something I ever chase. I do what I do because I genuinely love keeping history alive. But hearing that I’d been mentioned in Classic Military Vehicle Magazine left me a little overwhelmed I have to say.

Seb kindly featured me in the article about his Chieftain, including the seat restoration I completed for him, I also did some breach block stencils for him too. It’s a lovely reminder that I put so much passion into doing really does make a difference.

It reaffirms why I do what I do, and why I do it for my customers. You can check out the full article in this month’s Classic Military Vehicle; it’s a fantastic little read.

Only last week we said goodbye to the M2 Halftrack that’s been in the workshop for a chassis up restoration.

Axholme’s are proud to have helped complete this restoration with:
• Leather washers for the side lockers
• Radiator cowling canvas strips
• Wing P tape
• Riveted leather parts on the rear tool securing brackets
• Leather inserts for the floor panels
• Polishing up the existing dataplates
• Stencils for all interior seat cushions
• Radio canvas cover
• All external vehicle stencils — from the bumper markings to the 36 inch bonnet star
• Mudflaps
I like to let my work speak for itself, and this project shows that Axholme’s can help you with far more than just stencils.

I recently worked with one of my customers to produce custom stencils for their Nebelwerfer — essentially a mortar — and I have to say, they’ve done an incredible job with the restoration.
