The first post for a long time, here we go. This is a before-and-after stone chip repair, the cracks are filled with resin. A chip repair rarely goes invisible so that you can't see anything, just like this repair you can see a faint line in the glass. If its the perfection that you want then you are better off getting a replacement windscreen, but this repair would save you the cost of a new screen and gives it a better chance of not cracking off.

Chip repairs DO NOT disappear completely there will always be a visible mark. If you seek perfection then you will need a new windscreen. I did this repair today with my Super VAC repair kit, its more of a crack than a chip but as you can see from the finished result you can still see the pit and some scaring.
