September can be a busy month for MOTs, so if yours is coming up, getting booked in early means one less thing to worry about.

You can have your MOT carried out up to one month (minus a day) before it expires and still keep the same renewal date.

Saved from the scrap yard. 👏

This Fiat Panda 4x4 came to us needing some serious structural attention. With extensive corrosion around the sill area, for many cars this could easily have meant the end of the road.

But the Panda 4x4 is becoming a rare sight, and this one was worth saving.

Our team carried out a complete structural repair, including extensive sill fabrication to remove the heavily corroded sections and rebuild the affected areas properly.

It’s the kind of job that shows there’s a lot more to vehicle repair than simply replacing parts. Sometimes it takes fabrication, experience and plenty of skilled workmanship to bring a car back from the brink.

One rare little Panda saved from becoming scrap. ✅

Keep finding a dark patch underneath your car? Don’t ignore it.

A small oil leak can quickly become a bigger problem if the oil level drops too low. Depending on where the leak is coming from, it could be something relatively straightforward such as a seal or gasket, or a sign of a fault that needs further investigation.

If you’re regularly seeing patches where you park, check your oil level and get the car inspected rather than simply topping it up and hoping for the best.

Catching a leak early can help prevent a much more expensive repair further down the line. 🔧

🔩 Nail in your tyre? It doesn’t automatically mean you need a new one.

Whether a puncture can be safely repaired depends on several factors, including where the damage is, its size and the overall condition of the tyre.

Damage within the permitted central tread area may be repairable, provided it meets the required safety standards. Punctures too close to the shoulder or sidewall generally can’t be safely repaired, meaning replacement will be necessary.

It’s also important not to keep driving on a deflated tyre, as this can cause internal damage and turn an otherwise repairable puncture into a tyre that needs replacing.

If you spot a nail or screw, leave it in place if possible and let us inspect the tyre properly.

We’ll check it and advise whether it can be safely repaired or needs replacing. 👍
