🎉🚗 A huge congratulations to Tamara on passing her driving test FIRST TIME this morning! 🚗🎉

Our journey started a year ago, with Tamara just dipping her toe in the water to see whether driving was actually for her. As the months went by, she grew to quite enjoy driving, but even better than that was seeing her confidence in herself grow too. ❤️

Now, I don’t think she’ll mind me saying that the manoeuvres were never exactly her favourite part 😂 but she practised and practised until she had them down to a T! And then there was the love-hate relationship with the sat-nav… 😆🛰️

Today, though, Tamara overcame those nerves, did exactly what she needed to do and came away with the result she absolutely deserved a first-time pass! 🥳👏

And of course, we can’t forget Spencer the teddy bear, who came along today as Tamara’s lucky mascot. 🧸🍀 Clearly he did his job!

Enjoy getting out and about in your own car when it’s back. It’s been lovely watching your confidence grow over the last year, and I’m wishing you many years of happy and safe driving. 🚗💕

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you to drive, Rola. I’ve genuinely loved spending time with both you and Aya over the last nine months, watching you grow in confidence, overcome every challenge, and achieve your goals.

As a family (including Yasmin) you’ve all been amazing. You’ve supported one another every step of the way, put in 100% effort, and never let anything stand in your way. Your determination and positivity have been inspiring to see.

I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved, and I know you’ll all go on to do wonderful things. Congratulations again, enjoy the freedom that comes with your full licence, and drive safely. 🚗🎉💖

It’s been quite the journey, fitting lessons around university, working hard to overcome those nerves, and today it all paid off with a fantastic result.

You really put the effort in, Rose, and you thoroughly deserve this pass. Now you can enjoy the rest of your summer before heading back to university as a full licence holder!

I’ll miss our lessons, but I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved. Wishing you all the very best for the future, and happy driving! 🚘😊

It has been an absolute pleasure to teach Aya to drive. From day one, she has been punctual, arrived at every lesson ready to learn, and always put in 100% effort.

Today, all that hard work paid off with a well-deserved pass! The 5 a.m. alarm was most definitely worth it just to see the smile on Aya’s face when the examiner told her she had passed.

🚗✨ Congratulations to Beth Foster on her first-time pass in Malton this morning! ✨🚗

Beth and I first crossed paths through the wonderful charity Lucy’s Legacy.

Lucy’s Legacy was set up in memory of Lucy Ann Pearson, who sadly passed away in September 2024 following a battle with postnatal depression. The charity works tirelessly to campaign for better support, awareness and treatment for those affected. If you think you may be struggling with postnatal depression, please don’t suffer in silence 🙏🏻 reach out and ask for help.

Over the last few months, I’ve been proud to collaborate with Lucy’s Legacy by offering a driving lesson space to a local single mum who just needed a little extra support to make learning to drive more affordable and accessible.

Today, Beth achieved her goal and passed her driving test at the first attempt with just 3 driver faults and some lovely compliments from the examiner. 🚘👏

Beth has been an absolute pleasure to teach. Over the last six months we’ve shared plenty of laughs, and I’ve loved having her daughter, the wonderfully sassy and spicy Poppy, in the back of the car keeping us all on our toes during lessons! ❤️

Beth has worked incredibly hard for this result, and it’s been fantastic to watch her confidence grow with every lesson.

I wish both Beth and Poppy many years of safe and happy motoring ahead. I can’t wait to see you both out on the road and give you a wave when our paths cross again. 👋🚗

🎉 Huge congratulations to Tia on passing her driving test FIRST TIME today! 🎉

What an achievement, and one that is thoroughly deserved.

Tia has shown incredible commitment throughout her driving journey, putting her heart and soul into learning to drive. She has worked hard, stayed focused, and put in the effort every step of the way, which has led to today’s fantastic result.

Despite the nerves, she kept them under control and performed brilliantly on the day, even receiving some lovely compliments from the examiner. I couldn’t be prouder of her.

It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching Tia. We’ve had so much fun on our lessons together, plenty of laughs along the way, and I’ll genuinely miss our weekly drives.

Wishing you all the luck in the world for the future, Tia. Stay safe, enjoy your independence, and make lots of amazing memories on the road. 🚗✨

First of all, let’s congratulate Alec on an entertaining but beautifully smooth first time pass this morning with only ONE driver fault 👏🚗💨

Alec is also the last ..but definitely not least pupil to take his test in Viny the Second ❤️ he joins the 90 other pupils who have passed their tests in this Yaris since 2023.

Previous pupils will already know why my cars are called “Viny” 😂
Viny the Second was preceded by Sir Viny the First… who was exactly the same model of car. In fact, they were so alike that lots of pupils didn’t even realise I’d changed cars at all 🤣

That means I’ve had the Toyota Yaris same model since 2018, so while the prospect of a new car is exciting, I know it might also feel a little scary for some of my pupils. But don’t worry we’ll figure it out together ❤️

There will probably be things the new car does that I’ve never experienced before either, so it’ll be a learning curve for all of us!

So… welcome to the family, Dorey (spelt Duray, pronounced in a French accent of course 🇫🇷🐠)

Named partly in homage to my stunning personality 🤪 🐠partly because of the car’s performance 😂🤦‍♀️🔋… but mostly because it’s the same colour as a Duracell battery.

Not everyone passes their driving test first time, so this isn’t just a “well done” post… it’s an “I’m proud of you for not giving up” post. 💙

For some learners, driving comes naturally. For others, it takes a little longer — and that’s absolutely okay. What really matters is turning up each week, putting the effort in, and keeping going even when things feel tough.

I can almost guarantee that if you keep showing up, sit beside me each week, and give it your all… we’ll get there in the end. 🚗✨

Passing first time isn’t everything. Sometimes it’s about picking yourself back up, brushing yourself off, putting in maximum effort, and trying again. That’s what real achievement looks like. 💪🏼

A humongous well done to Jabi this morning for passing his driving test! 🎉🥳
It may not have been first time… but it was with ZERO driving faults! 👏🏼🔥
