What a fantastic result this morning in Malton, passing your driving test FIRST TIME with ZERO driver faults! 🥳👏

When Tan first came to me a few months ago, she wasn’t even sure driving was going to be for her, so much so that she only told a select few people she was learning!

But lesson by lesson, she started to enjoy driving more and more, and it was lovely to watch her confidence grow. ❤️

Despite being incredibly nervous this morning, Tan held it together beautifully and delivered an absolutely flawless drive, earning some wonderful compliments from the examiner too! 🌟

A first time pass, zero faults and glowing feedback from the examiner, it really doesn’t get much better than that! 🏆

Today’s congratulations go to Amy 🥰🚗🎉

What a journey we’ve been on! If anyone needs to know what true determination looks like, here it is! 💪🏼❤️

It’s not always about passing first time. It’s about turning up, learning from your mistakes, owning them, being accountable, working hard to improve and, most importantly, growing in confidence and ability as a driver.

Amy once said to me that she wasn’t sure driving was for her. I remember saying something very similar to my own driving instructor 21 years ago, and look at us now! 🥰

If anyone reading this has had a knockback, is doubting themselves or feels like the end goal is just too far out of reach, please remember that progress isn’t always a straight line. Keep showing up, keep learning and don’t give up. Every time you try, you’re one step closer to where you want to be. ❤️

🎉🚗 A massive congratulations to Gemma, who passed her driving test TODAY on her FIRST attempt🚗🎉

Gemma only started learning to drive in May, so what an amazing achievement in just a few months! 👏🥳

Gem decided to take most of her driving lessons with me in her own car, mainly because her 7-seater is quite a bit bigger than mine 😂 and she wanted to get plenty of experience and confidence driving the car she’d actually be using once she’d passed.

It’s quite common for learners to take their test in their instructor’s car, but that route doesn’t suit everyone. Gemma managed to get so much private practice in her own car that, by test day, it would have been completely counterproductive to put her into something different.

Everyone’s journey learning to drive is their own, and every pupil is different. There really isn’t a one-size-fits-all way of getting test ready ❤️

A massive congratulations from me, Gemma! 🥰 I know just how much having your licence is going to change things for you all.

I think I’ll miss the beast of a car almost as much as I’ll miss you and the tribe! 😂😘 It was awesome having you all along for some of the lessons ,especially the little sing-songs on the way back from Malton 🎶

And let’s not forget the offers of ice creams and Xbox 😂🍦🎮

Or the time I completely forgot there were FOUR children in the car and casually asked you to drive past McDonald’s when we didn’t have time to stop… 🤦‍♀️😂

Note to self: avoid the Golden Arches with under 11s in the car! 🍟😂

Libby only started learning with me back in April, and from day one she’s been punctual, consistent and completely dedicated to her lessons. All that hard work certainly paid off today, with some great compliments from the examiner too 🌟

I’ve genuinely really enjoyed spending time with you, Libby, and watching your confidence and driving develop over the last few months. You should be incredibly proud of yourself 🥰

🎉🚗 A huge congratulations to Tamara on passing her driving test FIRST TIME this morning! 🚗🎉

Our journey started a year ago, with Tamara just dipping her toe in the water to see whether driving was actually for her. As the months went by, she grew to quite enjoy driving, but even better than that was seeing her confidence in herself grow too. ❤️

Now, I don’t think she’ll mind me saying that the manoeuvres were never exactly her favourite part 😂 but she practised and practised until she had them down to a T! And then there was the love-hate relationship with the sat-nav… 😆🛰️

Today, though, Tamara overcame those nerves, did exactly what she needed to do and came away with the result she absolutely deserved a first-time pass! 🥳👏

And of course, we can’t forget Spencer the teddy bear, who came along today as Tamara’s lucky mascot. 🧸🍀 Clearly he did his job!

Enjoy getting out and about in your own car when it’s back. It’s been lovely watching your confidence grow over the last year, and I’m wishing you many years of happy and safe driving. 🚗💕

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you to drive, Rola. I’ve genuinely loved spending time with both you and Aya over the last nine months, watching you grow in confidence, overcome every challenge, and achieve your goals.

As a family (including Yasmin) you’ve all been amazing. You’ve supported one another every step of the way, put in 100% effort, and never let anything stand in your way. Your determination and positivity have been inspiring to see.

I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved, and I know you’ll all go on to do wonderful things. Congratulations again, enjoy the freedom that comes with your full licence, and drive safely. 🚗🎉💖

🎉 Huge congratulations to Rose on passing her driving test first time this afternoon! 🚗✨

It’s been quite the journey, fitting lessons around university, working hard to overcome those nerves, and today it all paid off with a fantastic result.

You really put the effort in, Rose, and you thoroughly deserve this pass. Now you can enjoy the rest of your summer before heading back to university as a full licence holder!

It has been an absolute pleasure to teach Aya to drive. From day one, she has been punctual, arrived at every lesson ready to learn, and always put in 100% effort.

Today, all that hard work paid off with a well-deserved pass! The 5 a.m. alarm was most definitely worth it just to see the smile on Aya’s face when the examiner told her she had passed.

A huge congratulations, Aya! You’ve worked incredibly hard for this moment, and I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved. Wishing you many years of safe and happy driving. 🚗🎉

🚗✨ Congratulations to Beth Foster on her first-time pass in Malton this morning! ✨🚗

Beth and I first crossed paths through the wonderful charity Lucy’s Legacy.

Lucy’s Legacy was set up in memory of Lucy Ann Pearson, who sadly passed away in September 2024 following a battle with postnatal depression. The charity works tirelessly to campaign for better support, awareness and treatment for those affected. If you think you may be struggling with postnatal depression, please don’t suffer in silence 🙏🏻 reach out and ask for help.

Over the last few months, I’ve been proud to collaborate with Lucy’s Legacy by offering a driving lesson space to a local single mum who just needed a little extra support to make learning to drive more affordable and accessible.

Today, Beth achieved her goal and passed her driving test at the first attempt with just 3 driver faults and some lovely compliments from the examiner. 🚘👏

Beth has been an absolute pleasure to teach. Over the last six months we’ve shared plenty of laughs, and I’ve loved having her daughter, the wonderfully sassy and spicy Poppy, in the back of the car keeping us all on our toes during lessons! ❤️

Beth has worked incredibly hard for this result, and it’s been fantastic to watch her confidence grow with every lesson.

I wish both Beth and Poppy many years of safe and happy motoring ahead. I can’t wait to see you both out on the road and give you a wave when our paths cross again. 👋🚗
