We here at Into Gear are devastated to read today that Tim Castle has sadly passed.
Tim was an such a genuine man who will to be missed by so many like us, his customers and friends. I was always pleased to see what a successful cafe he ran, not just for bikers and scooter dudes, but for his regular locals. We'd often be there at 8am on a Sunday, and by the time Tim had countered up his delights, the café would be full.
I remember with great fondness my first meeting Tim, early one Sunday morning. "I'll have a large breakfast with no tomato please" I announced.
The reply, maybe if you know Tim, won't surprise you "well it ain't a large breakfast then is it?"🥲
I'm pleased to say that that broke the ice, and we have been fans of Trackers cafe since.
I'm so sad for Tim's lovelly family, friends and the nutty staff....
Rest in Peace my friend....😪

Well, if you're brave enough to cross the Humber Channel into Europe, then come see the beauty that is Just Jane.
We've been over there every year for yonks to support the recommissioning of this fine Lancaster Bomber.
There could be 3000 Bikes, trikes and scooters there, so get there early😁
Please, leave us a burger, as we won't be leaving til 6pm (work, work, work etc etc)....

I'd like to give Boris a MASSIVE thanks 🍻 for the Covid bounce back loan scheme. It kept Into Gear in business and helped us through what was for us all, an uncertain and difficult time.
I'm proud to say that TODAY, after 5 years, we made our final payment! There were times, I'm sure you knew, when we had to cut back so that we could keep the payments on track, but we did it. We never missed a payment!🫡

Captain Slog's 🌞 Bank Holiday Sunday jolly out took us beyond the People's Republic of South Yorkshire to the distant land of the Peak District for a day of green lane frolics.
Massive hoot thanks to Squadron Leader Dave from Hoco Parts for providing maximum fun and local knowledge, with LOADS of lanes and top tucker at the Flash Bar Cafe in the middle of lord knows where😁. I got my Bike and Brew Passport from Castle Cafe Withernsea last Thursday and of course - left it at Into Gear!!!! 🤪 No 2nd stamp (til next time👍)
It was great seeing sportsbikes on the roads below us while we were bouncing along the gnarly stuff😀.
Slog's top tip - DON'T GO TO SHEFFIELD.... IT could cost you £10 to drive near it*

After a few delays, mainly war etc, we are pleased to have had our long awaited Rayven Motorcycle Clothing & Diora Boots delivery today. Theres loads of jackets, trousers, boots and glove ranges to see us all through the season......👍
Pop down for a nosey and buy something - well, we are a shop😁.

Captain Slog here on May the 14th be with you 😁.
Star date: 14052026.
It's the penultimate day of the 'Tour de Scotland' and we've landed in Moffat with enough time for the last supper at the Star Hotel. The ride from Loch Ness was picturesque as we have come to expect, with a few rainy bits thrown in. About halfway along the route, the must stop place was the 'Green Welly' cafe and gift shop. They have a big green welly. We've had a go at a route called 'rest and be thankful'...(google it). Tonight we're kipping at the Buccleuch - you may have seen it in motorbike mags and stuff. Possibly the best bikers hotel in the land.... safe, secure parking, restaurant, pub, great staff 👍🏻.
Tomorrow is the journey home ☹️.
It's been a fabulous week away. Great roads, fab hotels, mint mates, brill bikes, pants weather😂....
Stay tuned for more exciting adventures......
