🌴 WE’RE OFF! 🌴

After what has felt like a very long and very busy few months, we’re now taking some well-earned time out for our family holiday.

The phone is OFF. 📵
The office door is LOCKED. 🔒
And for once, there will be no emails, messages or enquiries being dealt with until we’re back!

We’ve been running on empty lately, juggling the business alongside a whole lot of life’s obstacles, challenges and everything else that gets thrown at you along the way.

So now it’s time to properly switch off.

No work.
No phones.
No worrying about the diary.
Just quality time, relaxation, adventures and making memories with our girls. ❤️

We’re going to completely immerse ourselves in family time and enjoy every minute of it.

We’ll be back refreshed, recharged and ready to get stuck back into the workshop.

Thank you as always to every single customer who has supported our little family business. We genuinely appreciate every booking, recommendation, review and bit of support you give us.

For now though… T.A.S is officially CLOSED and we’re off making memories! ☀️🌊✈️

📮 Another job that’s taken us away from the workshop this week!

This time we headed down to our local Post Office for a completely different type of project.

The existing door window trims were looking tired and dated, so we gave them a fresh new look with white vinyl.

It’s amazing what a simple change can do. The new white finish has instantly brightened up the entrance and given the door a much cleaner, fresher appearance.

Vinyl is a great option for updating existing surfaces without the cost, mess and disruption that can come with replacing them. It can be used for all sorts of commercial projects, from doors and window frames to signage, branding and much more.

We’re always happy to take on something a little different, and commercial vinyl work is another area we can help with.

🚗 Fresh start for this Audi!

This Audi came to us with old, tired window tint that had seen better days, so the first job was to carefully remove the existing material from all of the rear windows.

Once the old film was removed and the glass was properly prepared, we installed fresh new tint throughout the rear of the vehicle.

Replacing old tint can completely transform the appearance of a car. Over time, window film can fade, turn purple, bubble or simply lose that clean, crisp finish. A fresh installation brings the privacy, appearance and protection back up to scratch.

The new tint also helps reduce glare and sunlight coming into the rear of the vehicle, while helping to keep the cabin more comfortable during the warmer weather.

Sometimes you don't need a new car… you just need to make the one you've got look fresh again! 😎

🚐 A little behind the scenes at T.A.S…

We’ve been keeping busy with some commercial vehicle branding recently, but unfortunately these are jobs we’re not allowed to photograph or show at all.

So, while we can’t give you a sneaky peek at the vehicles or reveal the finished work, we can tell you there’s been plenty of careful preparation, measuring, vinyl cutting and precise application going on behind the scenes.

Commercial vehicle branding is a fantastic way to get your business noticed wherever your vehicles go. Your van becomes a mobile advert, putting your business name and branding in front of potential customers every day.

We work on everything from individual work vans to larger commercial projects, always taking the time to get the finish looking professional and right for the customer.

🚗 Another Citroen C4 in for a fresh new look!

This C4 has had a combination of 20% film to the rear screen and 5% film to the rear side windows.

But why use two different shades?

The 5% film on the side windows gives a much darker finish, providing excellent privacy and helping to reduce the amount of sunlight and glare entering the rear of the vehicle.

The 20% film on the rear screen is slightly lighter, which can be a great choice where you still want the benefits of tinted glass but would prefer a little more visibility through the rear of the vehicle.

Using different shades can also create a really nice finished appearance, giving the vehicle a darker, more private look from the sides while keeping the rear screen slightly lighter.

Tinting can also help reduce heat build-up inside the vehicle during the warmer months, reduce glare and help protect the interior from prolonged exposure to sunlight.

It’s all about choosing the right combination for how you use your vehicle, rather than simply going for the darkest option available.

😎 Subtle but effective on this Audi RS5!

This stunning RS5 came in for 50% window film to the front driver and passenger door windows.

50% is a great option for the front windows when you want to take the edge off the brightness and glare without going for a dark tint.

It gives the glass a subtle smoked appearance while still keeping the overall look clean and understated.

The RS5 already looks the business, so this is one of those little changes that adds to the finished look without being over the top.

🚜 Not our usual trip to the countryside! 🌾

We’re more used to seeing cars, vans and commercial vehicles arriving at the workshop, but this week we took a little trip out into the countryside for something a bit different…

A Varitron 220 Platinum TT agricultural vehicle needed its cab windows tinting, so we headed out to carry out the work on site.

Yes, we really do tint more than just cars! 😂

Tinting the cab windows isn’t just about making this impressive machine look the part. Working long hours in the summer sun means the operator can benefit from reduced glare and less direct sunlight coming through the glass, making the cab a more comfortable working environment.

And let’s face it… even agricultural machinery deserves a bit of style! 😎🚜

We love jobs like this because no two days are ever quite the same. From cars and vans to commercial vehicles and now a Varitron 220 Platinum TT, you never quite know what might be coming through our diary!

This one came in for a medium smoke finish to both the front and rear lights.

The customer wanted something that would give the car a more aggressive look without going too dark, and we think the medium smoke has hit the sweet spot.

The Seal already has some seriously sharp styling, and the smoked lights just add that extra finishing touch without completely changing the look of the car.

We love jobs like this because sometimes it’s the smaller details that make the biggest difference.

With the hot weather we’ve been having, window tinting isn’t just about making your vehicle look good. It can make a real difference to comfort too.
