Here is why you dont use national companies who employ the cheapest incompetant locksmiths from out of town.

We were called by a very distressed customer after being quoted £700 to replace a lost key on this 2018 velar. This was the old type key, a job we usually quote £360inc vat locally.

Unfortunately the other locksmith had been out first and on speaking to them found they had failed to add a key on the bench. Thier fee was £380 with £320 being a booking fee.

We had no comms by obd2 on arrival which was odd, so removed the KVM ourselves and made keys successfully on the bench. The car was still unresponsive and at that point was recovered to our workshop by kingston recovery for safe keeping while investigating the issue.

It turned out the KVM was previously damaged, and a short while later the fault was found and it was repaired in house, saving weeks of waiting time from the dealers.

Another Range Rover back on the road👍

2015 skoda superb, keyless start but no keys available.

Two new keyless keys supplied and coded after the owner was told dealer only by 3 other locksmiths.

Quick recase on this 2016 sportage after customers key fell apart just days before they are due to travel.

When travelling its always worth checking your spare is in good order and taking both keys with you, not on the same keyring though 😬👍

2024 Peugeot 2008 for a repeat trade customer.
This one was stolen with the key so the stolen key was erased and new genuine keys supplied and coded along with a new lockset.
Repeat trade visits make us happy here at immotec.
