Hi everybody.

We hope everybody is enjoying the warm weather and staying safe in the sun.
The summer holidays are almost upon us, just like everyone else the staff here have time off to enjoy the summer with their families.
So with this in mind we would like to let you know we are currently looking at a two and half to three week lead time for bookings.
Please bear this in mind as the peak MOT season is also coming up.
We will always try our hardest to get vehicles in as quickly as possible, but the earlier you can book your vehicle in, the easier it will be for us and the more likely you are to get a date that fits with your plans.

We are currently looking for an experienced fully skilled mechanic to join our friendly team.

The role is based in our busy workshop near central Hull, carrying out repairs and MOT's to cars and light commercial vehicles, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 3pm , no weekends.
In a friendly and flexible working environment.

Competitive pay based on experience and ability. We also offer 21 days annual leave, plus statutory, plus 3 additional paid days at Christmas.

A driving licence and own tool are essential.
And MOT licence would be beneficial but not essential.

The right person will need to have a positive mental attitude and be competent in vehicle repairs and servicing, replacement of clutches, cambelts and at least have a decent grasp of diagnosis.
