If you own a 2022+ VW Golf mk8 R, GTI, Audi S3 8Y, Cupra Leon/Formentor, or similar MQB Evo with a DSG DQ381 transmission, you'll be only too aware of the frustrating tuning limitation: your transmission cannot be tuned.

RacingLine’s new Mechatronic Board Upgrade addresses the problem properly, right at the transmission level.

By replacing the locked '401' bootloader factory control board with RacingLine's original Bosch unlocked version, you will open up flashing capability over OBD (and our PDM flash at home system), giving the DSG gearbox a tuning-friendly '301' bootloader.

At last, this allows full, proper RacingLine TCU calibration capability to ensure correct clutch pressure control to match increased torque, plus of course a raft of enhanced performance driving features.
