๐ค๐ญ WE WANT YOUR THOUGHTSโฆ SHOULD WE CHANGE OUR DEPOSIT POLICY?
Here at The New Car Group, we always try to be as fair and flexible as possible with our customers. ๐ค
At the moment, we operate a ยฃ250 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT system. ๐ท
This means you can reserve the car youโve chosen, giving you peace of mind that it wonโt be sold while you make your arrangements. ๐๐
Butโฆ weโve had a situation this week thatโs got us thinking. ๐
We had two genuine cash buyers interested in a jaguar I-Pace we have in stock. One customer placed a refundable deposit to secure their chosen carโฆ but unfortunately, they later decided to cancel.
We completely understand that circumstances change โ thatโs exactly why our deposit is refundable. ๐
However, by reserving the vehicle, we turned away other potential buyersโฆ and when the reservation was cancelled, we unfortunately lost the sale. ๐
So now we're asking ourselvesโฆ
๐ญ SHOULD WE MAKE OUR DEPOSITS NON-REFUNDABLE?
On one hand, we want to be fair to our customers and understand that things can happen. โค๏ธ
But on the other handโฆ we are running a business, and when a car is reserved, it can mean turning away other genuine buyers. ๐
We genuinely want to know what YOU think. ๐
Thereโs no right or wrong answer โ weโd genuinely love to hear your opinions. ๐ฃ๏ธ
What would you expect if you were buying a car from us? ๐
And as always, thank you to everyone who supports The New Car Group. โค๏ธ
