CONGRATULATIONS! JOSIAH DENTON-BARBER on passing your test yesterday!!

Josiah had previously taken lessons with another instructor and had one test attempt.

After an initial assessment, it was clear Josiah could drive but still needed some training on certain situations, and fill some knowledge gaps, including driving on rural roads.

After just 7 lessons, Josiah was now not just test ready, but 'Road Ready' and back at a test centre, this time Bridlington (previous was Wakefield) where he took to the roads with a calm, positive mindset delivering an excellent drive with just 1 fault being recorded (show me question). 🏆

Now Josiah can hit the road with confidence knowing he has the knowledge to drive safely anywhere at any time in his own car!

CONGRATULATIONS! AVA REDBURN on passing your test 1st ATTEMPT!!

Ava knew the best way to learn to drive was to commit to it 100%, and that is exactly what she did.

By learning the rules of the road and passing the theory test in the early stages meant Ava could focus more on the practical element of driving.

From the first lesson right through to this morning's nervous drive to the test centre, Ava has always kept her focus on her driving without being distracted.

Ava is lucky enough to have her first car and Mum and Dad have certainly helped by supervising Ava to gain more experience by practicing the subjects we had covered.

Today Ava nailed it!! An excellent drive on her first attempt with just 1 fault recorded!! 🥳

CONGRATULATIONS Lucy Hartley on passing your test today!!

Prior to contacting me, Lucy had sadly failed 2 driving tests, which understandably knocked her confidence, so she decided to take a break.

Three years later, Lucy contacted me and explained what it would mean for her to be able to drive but also how she felt about it.

With this in mind, we arranged an assessment to determine what Lucy could remember and see how her nerves held sat behind the wheel again.

Some knowledge gaps came to light and understandably some skills needed improving. We then worked on confidence building with support, structure and achieveable goals.

After just 22 HOURS of training, Lucy was back at the test centre feeling more confident than ever and showcasing her ability as a responsible competent driver!

After an excellent drive, with just 2 faults recorded, Lucy is now a fully qualified driver! 🏆

CONGRATULATIONS NATALIE HARVEY on passing your test 1st ATTEMPT!!

Natalie originally had her test booked for the 5th January, but it was cancelled and moved due to the poor weather conditions and rebooked for this morning.

Over the years Natalie had attempted to learn to drive a couple of times but gave up due to nervous anxiety behind the wheel, something that puts alot of people off sadly.

With this in mind, we discussed objectives, made a plan and taylored lessons to ease nerves, build confidence and achieve overall independance as a driver.

Today Natalie showcased her new skills and confidence with a near perfect drive and with just 1 fault recorded! 📜

Well, it's been a chilly start to 2026!!
Good opportunites to teach winter driving conditions, not so good for the tests I had booked, which have now been cancelled and rebooked (this was us arriving for a test on monday 🥶). Hopefully warmer weather is on its way!!

CONGRATULATIONS WARREN SCOTT ON PASSING YOUR TEST 1st ATTEMPT!

This morning's wet weather didn't deter Warren taking the examiner for a near perfect drive, with just 1 fault being recorded!

Warren has always kept to his regular lesson plan and asked plenty of questions when unsure of anything. This has certainly helped him on his journey.

All in all, an excellent result and well deserved.

CONGRATULATIONS OLIWIA MUSIAKOWSKA ON PASSING YOUR TEST TODAY!!

It was an early start this morning for Liv, with her 08.55 test booked and ready to go!
Although the weather was damp and gloomy, Liv kept her focus and had an excellent drive with just 3 minor faults being recorded and gained her full licence! - an excellent result! 👏
