💙⭐ Backpack Appeal ⭐💙

Our daughters school is collecting items for the next aid run to Ukraine from Kingsbridge.

A specific list has been formulated from the last aid run and the poster below details the items that are currently needed.

If any of you lovely people have any of the items listed that you would like to donate, we would be happy for you to drop them off to SMVR for Phoebe to take to school.

Any donations we can make is a small act of kindness that will have a big impact on a child's life ❤

The deadline for donations to SMVR is Thursday 12th May. Thank you 🙏

Following on from our post last week, Phoebe and I were able to visit Kingsbridge Food Bank after school today with a boot full of Christmas presents and chocolate 🤩

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful customers, suppliers and the lovely public who have dropped in fantastic presents and enormous amounts of chocolate!
We came home tonight to more presents on our doorstep and to be told more had been dropped off at work, thank you 🙏

Our mission to help Kingsbridge Food Bank collect Christmas presents for familes to give to their children (teenagers included) in Kingsbridge and the surrounding area continues for the next couple of weeks.

During the first lockdown Phoebe and I voluteered at Kingsbridge Food Bank along with an army of amazing volunteers, organised by Gerrie and Paula.

I have since gone back to work and Phoebe back to school, yet the Food Bank team continue to work tirelessly to help, support and feed hundreds of people in Kingsbridge and the surrounding areas.

This Christmas Kingsbridge Food Bank are supporting the families of over 200 children by giving them presents for their children to open on Christmas Day.

Phoebe (the real boss of the garage!) decided SMVR should help by donating toys to this fantastic charity. But we need your help ❤

If you are able to donate a NEW toy for a boy or girl of any age, however big or small, please pop it into us at Units 1&2 Garden Mill Ind Est, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1SA (facemasks will need to be worn if entering the garage).

It is with a heavy heart (but a sensible head) we have decided to close today until further notice.
There is a BUT.
NHS workers and Carers in the Kingsbridge area...we are here for you.
Please PM us with photographic proof you are a NHS worker or Carer (apologies for the formalities but some people may take advantage) and we will respond with a mobile number you can contact us on should you need to.
There are so many more amazing people out there right now that we would love to help, but we are only a small team and focusing on getting NHS workers and Carers back on the road is all we can do right now.
As always thank you to our loyal and amazing customers who support us. SMVR is our dream that has come true, and we will be back 🙂
