As promised, here are some photographs from our GLWR Ladies Day on Sunday. 🏍️💜 It was a busy morning!

A huge thank you again to everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, asked questions, supported the fundraising, and helped create such a welcoming atmosphere here at the shop.

It was fantastic to see so many women riders—from those considering their first bike to seasoned riders—coming together to celebrate our biking community.

Anyone who has been down for a look at this bad boy will tell you that this photo does the colour absolutely no justice! This GSX8R is stunning!

A peach of an engine that's winning races left right and centre, a comfy riding position, smooth quickshifter, modes, traction control and a very limited colour scheme. Love it.

Eddie has bagged himself this superb Tiger 800!

After a spell on his CB500X, he found it was a very capable bike but was starting to find the constant gear shifting a bit tiresome so was on the hunt for something with a bit more poke. This stunning machine had only recently come in and after a very successful test ride the deal was done!

Thanks so much for coming to MCS for your new bike, genuine pleasure dealing with you and look forward to catching up again soon!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our GLWR Ladies’ Event and the fantastic motorbike run to Moffat afterwards.

It was brilliant to see so many women from across the biking community coming together to share experiences, learn new skills, support great causes, and enjoy a day filled with chat, laughter and all things motorcycles. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success.

We hope you enjoyed the information sessions, meeting fellow riders, and of course the ride out led by Lesley from MCS.

We’ll share more photos and videos when we’re back at work on Tuesday, but for now, thank you all for making it such a memorable day. 🏍️❤️

Here's another face plenty of you will recognize!

Long term supporter of the shop Kevan has bought all of his bikes from MCS and there have been many! This time it was this stunning GSX-S 1000 to replace his MT-10 SP. As always he's fitted a million bits to it and can't wait for his new exhaust to arrive!

Thanks so much for all the support over the years, we really do appreciate it and are always very happy to see you popping in for your weekly visits!

Throwback Thursday to our emergency services day in May!

Kirsty has had a few bikes from MCS now and was on the hunt for something to replace her MT-03. Originally thinking about finding a used MT-07, this gorgeous GSX-8T caught her here and then a test ride sealed the deal. What a machine!

Thanks so much for all the repeat custom over the years! Always a pleasure dealing with you and I know we will continue to see plenty more of you over the years to come!

Ladies Day - Run Route 🏍

Ladies - here is the route this Sunday, 14th June 2026.

Leaving 1pm

The planned route on the day will take us down the A76, across the Dalveen Pass to loop across to the The Green Frog at Hammerlands Centre Jeff Brown Dr, Moffat DG10 9QL where there will be a food and drink stop. We are aware of the Main Street road closure at Sanquhar for HGV's and there is a short diversion in place.

After a stop there we will head towards Dumfries before heading home via Drumlanrig Castle.
