🛠️ CUSTOMER STORY: Don’t Ignore the Warning Signs! 🚗

Recently, a customer came into the workshop convinced their brakes were “still fine.” They were genuinely shocked when we removed the old brake discs and compared them with the brand-new replacements.

The photos say it all. Years of wear had left the old discs heavily corroded and worn, reducing braking performance and, more importantly, compromising safety. Thankfully, we replaced them before they became a much bigger problem.

So, how do you know when it’s time to have your brakes checked?

* Grinding noises (don’t ignore these!)
* Vibration or judder through the brake pedal or steering wheel
* Your car takes longer to stop than it used to
* A soft or spongy brake pedal
* The vehicle pulls to one side when braking
* The brake warning light appears on your dashboard

17 Months in the Making… 🚗🔧

What a journey it has been.

After 17 challenging months of planning, refurbishing, rebuilding and plenty of hard work, we were proud to reopen our fully renovated MOT Station at Craigie Road Motors back in February.

From removing the old equipment and breaking out the floor, to pouring new concrete, installing a brand-new MOT testing system in-ground and car lift, redecorating, upgrading the workshop and modernising the testing lane, this has been one of the biggest projects we’ve ever undertaken.

Looking back through these photos really shows how much has changed, and we’re incredibly proud of the finished result. The MOT station is now looking better than ever, providing a modern, professional testing environment for our customers and staff alike.

Most importantly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us throughout those 17 months and since reopening in February. The response from our customers has been fantastic, and the continued support we’ve received over the past few months has been genuinely appreciated. Your loyalty, patience and trust in us have helped make all the hard work worthwhile.
