How E85 Tuning Works

βœ… Higher Octane: E85 has an octane rating of roughly 100 to 105+, which lets tuners safely advance ignition timing and increase turbo boost without causing engine knock.
βœ…Increased Fuel Demand: Ethanol contains less energy per gallon than regular gasoline, meaning the engine needs 30% to 40% more fuel volume to achieve proper air-fuel ratios

We had this mercedes in with a permanent TPMS fault on the dash due to the track wheels and tyres being fitted.

We changed the vehicles coding to not require the sensors anymore and removed the light from the dash.

We tuned this one for our returning customer, an older 1.9tdi T5, at just 85bhp these were sluggish from new.

Upon reading this we were surprised to find it still stock, after 23 years!

We Logged and smoothed the tune to produce roughly:-

Stock 85bhp when new πŸ˜‚ - tuned - 140 bhp
Stock 200nm - tuned - 270nm

This one came to us after previously being tuned and suffering with very heavy turbo lag and diesel knock.

We updated the ECU back to factory and applied our own tested stage 1 software with various fault fixes that were required.

Out on test drive there was an instant improvement, we handed the vehicle over to the customer who came back much happier after a run out!

We Logged and smoothed the tune to produce roughly:

Stock 102bhp - tuned - 175bhp
Stock 250nm - tuned - 360nm
