Great to meet so many people at the Northampton Jobs Fair 🚗

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Driving Skills Academy stand to talk about becoming a driving instructor.

We had some really honest and positive conversations about what the job is actually like, including the flexibility, the earning potential, the training process, and the support needed to build a long-term career.

At Driving Skills Academy, we don’t make unrealistic promises. Like any industry, driving instruction has peaks and troughs. But those who train properly, deliver high standards, keep learning, and have the right support around them are the ones best placed to succeed.

That’s exactly why our instructor training is delivered by highly qualified trainers, including Level 8 Diploma qualified trainers, and why our instructors are encouraged to continue developing towards recognised qualifications such as Level 5.

Our aim is simple: to support people properly from the very start of their journey, through training, onto a trainee licence, and beyond into a successful career as an ADI.

Dan and I recently met up. We’re getting ready for the Northampton Jobs Fair and preparing everything we need to meet people who may be thinking about a new career. We’ve got the stand backdrop, banners, scannable QR Codes organised along with handouts and keyrings for anyone that visit us.

This event is a great opportunity to chat to people about becoming a Driving Instructor and explain:
