We’re proud to support people who want to grow and build their careers.

Nadia first joined IMKA at 16 during her summer holidays while studying motor vehicle engineering at college, and has since progressed into our Manufacturing Engineering team, where she’s now completing her Level 3 Improvement Technician course alongside her role.

Alongside her career development, Nadia is also taking on a charity skydive in support of Crohn’s & Colitis UK, a cause close to her family.

“I want to show my little sister that you should always be brave, face your fears and never let fear stop you becoming the person you’re meant to be.” 💙

If you’d like to support Nadia’s fundraiser, donations are greatly appreciated via the link below:

Solar generation has been part of our facilities for many years, supporting more responsible manufacturing across both our Kettering and Coventry sites.

While helping power day-to-day production in 2025 at IMKA, we removed almost 163 metric tonnes of carbon from the air. That’s like taking the weight of a full-grown blue whale out of the atmosphere!

This drone footage offers a different perspective on the scale of the installation and the role it continues to play across our operations.

This is our CNC laser machine. Here, we're producing a speaker grille pattern, with consistent hole quality and clean edges across the entire part.

At IMK, this level of precision is standard. We support both high-volume production and more complex, detailed work, with tight control over quality and repeatability.

Built for applications where both performance and finish matter.

In 2022, we committed to reducing VOC emissions by 50% by end of 2025.

We’ve gone far beyond that goal with 87% reduction in emissions.

More than 7 tonnes of VOCs removed from the air in just 3 years, creating a safer working environment for our teams and contributing to cleaner air across our facilities.

What began as a practical improvement has delivered lasting impact across our day-to-day operations.

After 12 years with IMK Automotive, today we say goodbye to Steve as he heads into retirement.

As Account Manager for Bentley Accounts at IMK, Steve has been a hugely valued and well-liked member of the team, known for his dedication, reliability, and the way he’s supported both colleagues and customers over the years. His contribution has left a lasting mark on the business.

While he’ll be greatly missed, we know he’s looking forward to plenty of time on the golf course, the many holidays already booked, and getting back into running.

Wishing you a long, happy and well-earned retirement, Steve 👏

Working with some of the most recognised names in British automotive design speaks to more than capability alone. It reflects decades of trust, craftsmanship and attention to detail built over time.

At IMK Automotive, our partnerships with brands such as JLR, Bentley Motors and Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd highlight the standards we work to every day.

From heritage programmes through to modern luxury and performance vehicles, precision, material understanding and consistent quality remain at the centre of everything we produce.

It is a responsibility we are proud to carry forward, and one that continues to shape how we approach every new project.

At IMK Automotive, quality assurance is built into every stage of production

Research often suggests that even the most experienced human inspector will typically identify around 80% of visual defects. That isn’t a reflection of skill or care, it’s simply the reality of manual inspection in fast-moving manufacturing environments.

That’s why we have developed our own in-house Vision System.

Working alongside our highly skilled workforce, the system continuously monitors product quality in real time, helping ensure that any defect, however small, is identified before it can move further down the line. The result is a level of quality assurance that moves far closer to 100% confidence, protecting both our customers and the integrity of every component we produce.

Now fully rolled out across our facilities, this technology reflects something fundamental about how we operate: combining craftsmanship, experience, and intelligent automation to deliver consistent, dependable quality at scale.

Watch the system in action below.

It was great to be at yesterday for their Apprenticeship Open Day

Our team had the chance to showcase what we do at IMK Automotive - bringing along a range of real production samples to give students a hands-on insight into our work and the materials we use.

It was brilliant to see so much interest, particularly in our engineering apprenticeships, and to highlight that careers in manufacturing go far beyond traditional maintenance roles.

Our young engineers spoke with the new generation of aspiring apprentices who are looking forward to staying in touch and supporting them as they explore their future careers.

From high-volume production to low-volume bespoke programmes, cutting capability matters.

Our advanced Lectra leather cutting machines ensure precision and optimal material use when working with natural hides, while Bulmer cutting technology allows multiple layers of synthetic materials to be processed efficiently at scale.

This flexibility means we can support everything from specialist, detail-driven interiors to larger production requirements without compromising on quality.
