Do you own a diesel Ford, if so your vehicle may be the subject of a main dealer recall. This includes a software update and a dpf health check, with the possibility of a replacement, if necessary. See the vehicle list, and a link in the image.
It's worth giving your local main dealer a call, rather than cutting out your dpf and rendering it illegal to drive on the road.
Hopefully, this information will be useful to a lot of Ford owners.

A full and varied week for us, this week. Amongst our jobs, we cured the following issues.
Blocked dpf, with 67grams of soot/ash. Cured with our new on vehicle dpf cleaning chemicals. Mainly for vehicles over 100k miles.
Adblue fault. Eml on dash and the dreaded countdown to no start. Cured with one of our adblue solutions.
Eolys/pats dpf fluid problem, engine management lights showing and reduced performance. Cured and had the customer back on the road in a couple of hours.
Another blocked dpf on a little Polo, with 137,000 miles. Eml showing and reduced performance.Once again, we used our latest cleaning products to get this vehicle up and running again. Completely clear of soot and ash. The blockage on this vehicle had been mainly caused by lots of short, "round the town" journeys.

Ps - we didn't do a dpf clean on any of the boats in the picture. It was just a lovely sunny day, and I thought I'd share.

This little beastie had the dreaded 200 miles until no start message, and the adblue flashing symbol. We set about implementing corrective measures and soon had a satisfied customer on their way.

DPF ASH and SOOT REMOVAL!
We were called to 2 more high mileage vehicles last week, both showing over 150k miles and both showing soot and ash blockages in the dpf. This is quite common in vehicles over 100k miles, and up until now, the only ash removal option was to take off the dpf and clean it at high pressure. We now have an alternative solution, we now have a new product which will allow us to clean soot, oil, carbon and also ash, whilst leaving the dpf in place. This saves the extra cost of removal and refitting and the downtime associated with the off vehicle process. We have a 100% success rate with our new process, so far and we already have bookings for next week.
So, before you buy a new dpf or pay to remove and clean, get in touch, we may be able to help.
