HAPPY HANDOVER DAY… AND WHAT AN EXTRA SPECIAL ONE THIS HAS BEEN!!

We've had customers travel from all over the UK to collect their dream vehicles, but today we've taken things to a whole new level… CYPRUS!! 🇨🇾✈️

Our lovely customer contacted us from nearly 2,800 miles away after spotting this stunning 2024 Volkswagen Amarok Style pickup, and knew it was the one for him! 😍

So, this morning, he hopped on a plane and flew all the way to the Lake District to collect his new pride and joy! 🛻

Having left behind the glorious 30°C Cyprus sunshine, he was treated to a proper Cumbrian welcome… and managed approximately 30 minutes of Lake District weather before deciding it was time to head home! 🤣🌧️

But this isn't your average journey home…

He's now embarking on an incredible 2,791-mile road trip across Europe, with his beautiful new Amarok taking him all the way back to Cyprus! 🌍❤️

What an adventure, and what a fantastic way to get acquainted with your new vehicle!

From all of us at Lakeland Vans, a massive thank you for putting your trust in us from so far away. It's genuinely special to know our reputation and vehicles are reaching customers across Europe.

Safe travels, enjoy every mile, and please send us a picture when you finally make it home to the sunshine! ☀️❤️

❤️ Happy handover day! Five years in the making… and well worth the wait!

Some customers know exactly what they want, and this lovely customer from Essex certainly wasn't going to settle for anything less! 🙌

Having followed our social media for some time and even saved Lakeland Vans as a favourite on Auto Trader, he'd been searching for his dream van for almost FIVE YEARS! 😮

Then one day, there it was…

🔥 2020 Ford Transit Custom Limited
🩶 Metallic Magnetic Grey
🚐 6-seater crew cab
✨ Stunning body kit and styling

The exact van he'd been waiting for all this time!

The deal was done, and all that was left was a casual 530-mile round trip to Kendal! 🤣 Thankfully, he managed to collect his new pride and joy just before the storm rolled in! 🌧️

And we couldn't forget one very important detail…

THE RED BOW! ❤️

He'd spotted our now-famous red bow in all our handover photos and had even mentioned it before collection. Naturally, there was absolutely no chance we were letting him leave without getting his very own bow moment! 🤣

It's stories like these that make what we do so rewarding. Knowing someone has followed our journey for years and then chosen us for such a special purchase really does mean the world.

A massive thank you for making the journey and putting your trust in Lakeland Vans.

Five years of searching, 530 miles of travelling, and one very happy new owner! ❤️

Wishing you many happy miles and adventures ahead!

Happy handover day! Another local business back on the road!

When your trusty old work van starts playing up, the last thing you need is for it to slow your business down!

A local Fire & Security company got in touch after their faithful Vauxhall Vivaro started giving them a few headaches. They needed something reliable, and they needed it quickly!

Luckily, we had just the thing… this stunning new-shape Ford Transit Custom in Frozen White! 🤍🔥

📞 Saturday – Van ordered!
🔧 Monday – Fully serviced and prepared!
🔑 Wednesday – Keys handed over and back on the road!

Another quick turnaround from the Lakeland Vans team! 🙌

We know that for local businesses, a van isn't just a vehicle, it's what keeps the wheels of the business turning.

A massive thank you for trusting Lakeland Vans to get you sorted. We wish you many happy, trouble-free miles in your new Transit Custom! ❤️
