They have a long standing relationship with FMC and its satellite teams world wide and in 1998 they began expanding the company by buying up different competitors stock, the first

to go was GSE who was retiring from motorsport and then Ford Motor Sport Indonesia, following that was G H racing, Terry Dury racing and MLP with the most recent being a Ford Belgium satellite team,

As a company they have spent a lot of time on development and testing, they have their own in-house machine shop and have the experience and knowledge to provide the customer with high quality custom parts to order. Prestige motorsports have agents around the world from Canada and USA to Asia and Europe to help speed the flow of Cosworth parts to their global customers. An early highlight for Prestige motorsports was when they managed and prepared for Alistair McRae in the World Rally Championship 1996 Rally of Australia and on to China to 1st in class with F2 Honda. The team’s services expand to other countries on a regular basis. With in 2003 Andrew Thomson was lying 3rd in the Asian Pacific Rally F2 Championship in a 1600cc works GPN KIA but was forced to pull out of the rest of the championship due to work commitments although this enabled them to setup a workshop and rally school in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prestige motorsports have a long list of happy past and present customers. Some of this includes: Alistair McRae, Gwyndaf Evans, Stephen Murphy, Russell Palmer, Richard Penrose, Michael Lieu, Ben Lim, Soleh Yusuf and Pablo Castelos to name a few. Another name that motorsport enthusiasts may have heard of is Penti Airikkala. we have used Penti for driver training days and his speciality of left foot braking training courses on there own test track in the past. Due to customer demand, Prestige motorsports have developed their business into other areas where increasing demand has forced them to change their role in the motorsport business as previously they were turning people away, it only seemed right that we offered all there customers this service . One thing Prestige motorsports pride them selves upon is being able to source any part for GPN / GPA Cosworth rally cars, including WRC parts. They have large quantities of 909 parts in stock at any one time, as well as having more than half a dozen cars for sale or breaking, currently including a works escort GrpA, two GrpN Escort Cosworth and at one point a couple of Ford RS200s (the one that was famously too powerful for Jeremy Clarkson). Their latest development part is a Cosworth MT75 gearbox big tooth gear kit made solely for Prestige motorsports , designed and produced in Sweden. The revolutionary part is designed to transmit the high output of modern racing Cosworth 4WD engine, these gear kits have semi straight cut gears with synchromesh engagement. They are available, from use in a variety of ratios making this gear kit suitable for any competition or road use. It uses standard casings with ‘H’ pattern quick shift gear change meaning you can just fit it and forget about having to keep replacing the so called strong GrpN gearbox’s that other companies supply, and most importantly just enjoy your driving. Many teams are now realizing the advantages of these gear kits and racing transmissions. In the years to come, as the sport continues to evolve and grow Prestige motorsports will help teams push the performance enveloped in this exciting sport. Their longstanding working relationships with rally / race teams have enabled them to provide a gear kit for performance road vehicles and track day cars.
