Due to continued expansion Gibbautos.co.uk is recruiting, we have a number of Full time & Part time vacancies that we are looking to fill over the coming months.

Based in Kelso, we operate vehicle sales, repairs and breakdown recovery services.

The business is expanding into larger premises and some exciting times are ahead of us, we are looking for a number of reliable, trustworthy team players with a positive 'Can do' attitude to come and work alongside us.

We have the following opportunities initially;

Vehicle Mechanic
Site Valeter
General site maintenance/handyman

Drivers Licence is essential for all positions.

Due to continued growth within our family business, we are now able to offer the right candidate the opportunity to come and work alongside us.

Our business offers the following services, Breakdown Recovery, garage services and vehicle sales.

We have premises in Coldstream & Kelso, so flexibility with travelling to either location is essential.

We are expanding in both locations and as we do we will be looking to welcome new team players to join us, further vacancies will be advertised accordingly.

Position currently available;

General site Person/ Valeter.

Part time position that could develop into full time dependent on continued growth and the right person with a can-do attitude.

Duties to include but not limited to, cleaning vehicles, valeting, detailing, polishing etc, general site maintenance.

Skills required for this position are that you MUST be reliable, have a pleasant manner, be able to deal with customers in a courteous and helpful manner, a team player, have a good all round hardworking attitude, good people skills and be able to work to a high standard.

Previous Car Valeting experience is ideal, but not necessary.
Full UK driving license is preferential.

Preparing vehicles for test drives and collections, and ensuring they are cleaned to the highest standards.

Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles

Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace

Working inside and outside

Moving vehicles around on site

This position may suit a young person starting off their working life and looking for an opportunity to develop a long term career, albeit this position is open to everybody regardless.

As the business grows, there will of course be opportunities to advance within the business to other positions as they become available.

Company uniform supplied after initial probationary period.

Salary dependent on age and experience.
