WE ARE RECRUITING! Yes that’s right, we need yet another experienced Technician to join our team. Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire.
We are an independent Jaguar Land Rover specialist looking for a qualified motor vehicle technician with at least 4 to 5 years experience to join our Keighley team. Previous Jaguar Land Rover involvement would be preferred but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Posistion

Salary: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
42.5 working hour week, no weekends.
Consistent overtime readily available paid at time and a half.
Uniform and PPE supplied.
Payment towards safety boots.
Extra holidays for longer service.
On site training will be provided on our diagnostic software of SDD, Pathfinder and Autologic. 3rd party training can be provided for Electric Vehicles, A/C machines, gearbox flushing equipment and Picoscope as and where required.

We are looking for a person with good problem solving techniques and initiative. Attention to detail and high quality workmanship make us different from the rest and we want new team members to share our ethos whilst encouraging new ideas to be brought to the table that could help us improve.

We are looking for successful candidates to be able to
carry out a range of diagnostics and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work.
ensure effective use of technical knowledge including the use of special tools and diagnostic equipment.
analyse job cards and diagnostic information carefully to understand the vehicle's condition and what is required.
communicate with other members of staff about the vehicles and jobs within the workshop.
some Jaguar Land Rover knowledge is preferable; however, training will be given.
City and Guilds/NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferable but not essential.
A full UK driving licence
Candidate must have a good selection of own general hand tools.

Must be self motivated, hard working, on time and able to work tidily, professionally and as part of a team.

Changing the heater matrix on a Discovery 4… because apparently Land Rover thought “let’s hide it as far away as possible and see who’s brave enough.” 😅

If your Land Rover Discovery 4 is steaming up like a kettle, smells of coolant, or giving you cold air when you’ve got the heating on full blast – chances are the heater matrix is on its way out or blocked.

It’s not a five-minute job either… dash out, centre console stripped, half the interior looking like a showroom explosion 💥 But when it’s done properly – no leaks, no misting, and heat that actually works – it’s worth every bolt.

Another one sorted, back together properly, coolant bled, and toasty warm again 🔥

If your Discovery 4 is losing coolant or your windows won’t clear, get it checked before it turns into a bigger (and wetter) job.

💧 Water Ingress & ECU Damage – It’s Never “Just a Misfire”

Water getting into your vehicle’s ECU (Engine Control Unit) can cause absolute chaos. We’re talking random warning lights, non-starts, misfires, limp mode, communication faults… and sometimes a completely dead vehicle.

The scary part? The ECU is basically the brain of your car. Once moisture gets inside, it corrodes circuit boards, damages pins, and creates high resistance in wiring. What starts as a small leak from a blocked drain, poor windscreen seal, or damaged wiring grommet can quickly turn into a very expensive problem.

But here’s the key 👇
Throwing parts at it won’t fix it.
Proper diagnosis means: ✔️ Tracing where the water is entering
✔️ Checking wiring integrity
✔️ Testing power, grounds & communication lines
