Track day preparation has been under way the last few weeks after we decided an Ashbocking Track day was needed….Stefan has been corner weighting his Aristo, Boggle swapped his new engine into his race mx5, I replaced the brakes on my budget build mx5 and we invited along a guest of honour….Lawrence from Graduate Cars who didn’t have a track car ready so went out and bought one of the maddest cars possible… some say it has more bhp than all of our cars combined! 👀

The employee of the month Stefan decided we didn’t need a new oil transfer pump and instead made one with old car parts! It works amazingly well! Parts used: Impreza flywheel, straight exhaust pipe, accord power steering pump, Meriva coolant bottle and hose.

Our number 1 employee of the month for the past 5 years; Stefan, managed to get a piece of wheel bearing stuck inside his hand…. A few months later it worked its way onto a nerve causing a lot of pain. He’s had it removed and is currently on light duty. There’s nothing light about mechanics (apart from the pay packet he would argue). So he’s decided a nice Japanese styled green workshop floor is in order!
