Mercedes-Benz R-Class 2011 3.0 Diesel

▪️Fixed Right the First Time! 🔧🚗

▪️​This Mercedes arrived at our shop stuck in limp mode. The owner had previously taken it elsewhere to have the EGR valve replaced, but the engine fault kept coming back. 😬😌🤷‍♂️
▪️​When we ran diagnostic scans, the fault code pointed straight back to the EGR valve.
▪️Upon physical inspection, we found a low-quality, unbranded aftermarket part installed without any markings or part numbers. 🫤
▪️​Our Solution:

✅️ ​Replaced the cheap aftermarket unit with a high-quality, trusted Hella EGR valve.

✅ ️​Carried out proper ECU adaptations to calibrate the new unit perfectly.

✅️​ The result? Zero issues reported by the customer—another vehicle fully restored and running smoothly!

▪️Recently, our own family VW Passat took a hit after driving through a flooded road.😬
▪️Water managed to seep past the inner tie rod boots, causing internal shaft corrosion that made the steering feel clunky and noisy.
▪️​Instead of taking risks on the road, we got it sorted straight away in the workshop:

​✅ Full Steering Rack Replacement: Removed the water-damaged unit and installed a fresh rack.

✅ VAG Group Coding & Diagnostics: Performed all necessary software adaptations, steering angle sensor calibrations, and basic settings using specialized VCDS diagnostic tools.

✅ Warning Lights Cleared: Restored full power steering function and cleared all dashboard error codes.

▪️​ We put the car up on the ramp to inspect the wheels and identified a failing wheel bearing.
