The Parts Department hosted a table of 10 customers at the final race meeting of the British Superbikes season on Sunday 18th October.

The day provided a great opportunity to spend time with customers outside of the usual working environment, enjoy some excellent hospitality and watch the season come to a close with some exciting racing on track.

Six of our apprentices recently attended their graduation, marking an important milestone in their training and development at Chassis Cab.

Congratulations to Alfie Tweed, Oscar Darnell, Sam Logan, Jamie Fieldhouse, Owen Mullen and Heyden Laughlin, on reaching this achievement. Owen has completed his Parts apprenticeship, while Sam, Alfie, Heyden, Oscar and Jamie have trained as Technicians. Their graduation recognises the hard work, commitment and skills they have developed throughout their apprenticeships.

We’re proud to support the next generation at Chassis Cab, and it’s great to see our apprentices reach this important milestone. We look forward to seeing them continue to develop and grow as part of the Chassis Cab team.

This is a rare FAQ XD 450 Day cab mounted with a Whale body. This offers maximum manoeuvrability for an 8 wheel chassis to enable Binders to get into the more tricky locations.

Thanks to Binders for their continued business and the opportunity to be involved in this exciting build.

Andy Govier, workshop foreman at our Cambridge depot, has retired after 50 years of service. This is a major milestone for Andy as well as us at Chassis Cab. Over Andys time at Chassis Cab, he has built lasting relationships and has become a valued member of the Chassis Cab family. His retirement was marked with a celebration alongside the Cambridge team.

Thank you Andy, for your service over the last 50 years, and we wish you a well earned retirement!

On Friday we delivered this FTR XG 530 to Hewicks Haulage Ltd , fitted with tipping hydraulics for their bulk trailer.

It’s a milestone delivery for us too, our first New Generation DAF supplied to Hewicks Haulage, and their first DAF in six years.

We’re proud to have sponsored Claydon ladies FC for the past three years.

This season, our sponsorship has helped provide the team with kit bags, tracksuits and training tops. It’s great to support local football, and we wish the ladies every success for the season ahead!
