Busy past month out and about...
Oulton Park BSB ➡️ Cadwell Park test ➡️ Snetterton trackday ➡️ Thruxton BSB ➡️ IOM Manx GP ➡️ Cadwell Park BSB 😮‍💨

Alot of ups and an awful lot of downs but thats racing 🤷‍♂️🫯

Although the results may not reflect where we are and the work and effort put in, still a blast working with Simon for GRYD Racing at BSB and Chris for STS Racing at the Manx GP 🤝 as always onwards and upwards 💪

Pretty cool to have a play about with a clients WSBK spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Snetterton, first time having a fiddle with the Magneti Marelli system 💻📊

Now looking forward to a day (possibly two!) off before getting back into the workshop ahead of Assen BSB 👀

Suzuki GSX-R750 K7 back up and running for this customer after a previous attempt at valve clearance adjustment went very wrong for them 😬

×2 bent exhaust valves
Cracked inlet cam
Inlet shims ~0.6mm over thickness

Complete engine remove/refit carried out with resurface of head gasket surfaces, re-cutting of valve seats and correct valve clearances set.
Was a late finish getting this one done due to parts but all ready to roll for the customers trackday.

Alot of work and hassle could've been saved had it come here in the first place, but the main thing is that it's back on track 👊

A few chassis adjustments made along with the installation of the awesome Forsaken Motorsports
adjustable offset triple clamps 🤤
Nice to utilise the new software having a measure up of weight distribution, centre of gravity, forces etc (got to put the uni work to use somewhere 😉😝)
All work like this made easier and easier as the workshop equipment continues to grow and improve.
Time to get a few more jobs done before heading to Thruxton then straight onto the Manx GP with STS Racing ✊️

✅️ Stem protrusion measured and checked on new style valves
✅️ Seats cleaned up
✅️ Light resurface of head gasket face
✅️ New carb rubbers

Busy past month away doing this racing lark. Mega first experience of the IOM TT with Official Kawasaki Road Racing Team and the awesome Davo. Shame about the weather during race week but still a good fortnight nonetheless.
Back to BSB for the pilgrimage up to Knockhill. Usual monsoon during Friday testing. Valuable points scored in both races.
Past weekend spent at the sweltering Snetterton. Incredible pace and pole position achieved. Well earned P2 🏆 in the race.
Back to the workshop before Brands Hatch in two weeks time 👀🔥

Round 2 of BSB completed at Donington Park. Another great weekend turning spanners for . Showing the pace from the get go and delivering a well earned 3rd finish in the race 👏🏆. Looking forward to carrying on the momentum into round 3 at Knockhill in a month's time.

Now it's time for a day or two off before heading to the IOM TT with 🤠

Non stop few weeks fiddling with motorbikes 😮‍💨
First stop was Oulton Park for the first round of BSB running the mighty M1000RR. Straight from there to the ferry to get to Ireland. From the port straight to Kirkistown (via Bishopscourt 🤦‍♂️😅) for a shakedown with the ZX10RR superbike and stocker. Then onto the NW200. Great performance despite the weather and incidents.

Stressful job made easier by working with two great teams.

Now back to the work shop to prep for the second round of BSB at Donington Park and then the TT.🏁
