Due to continued growth, Ross’s Garage Ltd is recruiting reliable and skilled people to join our vehicle recovery and garage workshop operation. We offer a busy, practical working environment where safety, teamwork and excellent customer service come first.
🚗 Vehicle Recovery Drivers / Technicians
• Attend roadside incidents and recover cars and light commercial vehicles safely.
• Carry out basic roadside assessments and provide a professional service to customers.
• Complete vehicle checks, job records and handover paperwork accurately.
• Day, night and weekend shifts per rota, must live within 15 mins of base in Clava IV2 5EL or Kincraig PH21 1ND
🔧Workshop Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians/ MOT Testers
• Diagnose faults and complete servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for inspection and return them to customers in a safe condition.
• Maintain accurate job cards and keep work areas clean and organised.
🚗 Mobile Tyre Fitter
• Attend customers at roadside, home and business locations to repair or replace tyres safely.
• Inspect tyres, diagnose faults and provide clear, professional advice to customers.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and stock checks and maintain accurate job records.
• Day, night and weekend shifts per rota, must live within 15 mins of base in Clava IV2 5EL or Kincraig PH21 1ND
☎️ Office Administrator / Customer Service Staff/ Control Room
• Answer telephone and email enquiries and provide clear, professional customer service.
• Log recovery jobs, schedule bookings and coordinate information between drivers, technicians and customers.
• Prepare invoices, update records and complete general administrative duties accurately.
• Experience in transport, vehicle recovery or a garage environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Days, nights, weekends per rota
What We’re Looking For
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• A dependable, flexible and professional approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence for driving roles; additional licence categories and recovery experience are advantageous.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications or practical workshop experience for technician roles.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends or participate in an on-call rota where required.
