Another fantastic year supporting The Longest Day Challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK who raise circa £100,000 every year on the one day event on 21 June.

Another great success with a few hiccups as expected across a 1000 miles day for around 40+ riders on £600 bikes. Have a follow of the longest day page and drop a donation to a very worthy cause.

If you want to get involved next year send the page a pm or drop them an email to note your interest.

It’s 3am here and we are closed tomorrow for rest and returning the shop to its standard use. Open from Tuesday at 9am.

We will be closed tomorrow (Monday 22nd June 26) as we are open all night as Pitstop 5 for The Longest Day Challenge event to feed,fuel and cheer on the riders of the class of 2026 event raising a staggering amount of money for Cancer Research UK as we do every year.

The riders are expected to start arriving from around 7/7:30pm until the small hours of the morning in need of sustenance, motivation, a toilet and many cakes.

Back to usual from Tuesday for the week after which it’s Touring time for us for a fortnight also (Norway)

😱Rare tyre opportunity😱

Michelin have just released a very limited run of their Power 6 with velvet touch technology in 180/55-17 size only!

These are limited to 300 worldwide with only 110 available in the UK. Would you run them and wear them out or hold them as a piece of memorabilia?

We have managed to bag 3 of these!!!

Question is…

Do we auction them for Highland Hospice, sell them to the highest bidder and use that money for another good cause like The Longest Day Challengee who raise for cancer research uk or simply sell them to those of you who want a rare piece of Michelin history? We have 3 so we could do all of the above here!

German tourist in desperate need of a new tyre after a V**e that was discarded on a road ended up through the tyre and inside. This was the cause of a couple of punctures last year too. Seems people can’t bin or recycle things properly still. A potentially dangerous outcome had the bike been travelling at speed at the time.
