As we approach the end of another fantastic season, we want to remind all our Laver Leisure holiday home owners about the vital importance of preparing your caravan for the colder months.
Please remember to professionally book in with an approved contractor to plan your drain down for the end of the season, or right after your last planned use of your holiday home. It is incredibly important to get this done properly and not cut corners.
Every year, we unfortunately see the heartbreak of a handful of owners who have either taken no action or have not used a qualified professional to carry out the work. Failing to drain down your holiday home properly can lead to frozen, burst pipes and severe water damage. Additionally, in some circumstances, failing to have a professional drain down can invalidate your insurance policy cover, leaving you responsible for expensive repairs.
