As well as offering our own custom gearbox tuning, we’re also official xAutomotive dealers, so we can supply and flash XHP for you as well if you’d prefer.

The main difference is that XHP offers a really solid, proven gearbox tune along with a range of additional coding and customisation features.

Our own gearbox tuning is a little more vehicle-specific. We can tailor the gearbox calibration around the car and its engine tune, making adjustments where required while we’re out datalogging to make sure the engine and gearbox are working together as well as possible.

Business spec 540i in for preparation for some extra power to be able to get to business meetings faster 💨💨 time is money after all!!

We had our good friends B58 in for kill 2 birds with one stone modification, improve the exhaust tone in the best way possible, whilst keeping it road legal, and allow for some better power capability!

On our initial logging we found the HPFP to be abit hit and miss at 90k miles so we recommended the TU upgrade, we also experienced some heavy white smoke out the exhaust on one of the pulls, and found the PCV to be split which is very common on these!

This one will be coming back soon for stage 2 tuning, datalogging and dyno runs soon!

420i with a lovely valved catback that we made for this 420i G series.

As you can see, there’s not much space at the back meaning the only valved system we could implement, was a box on one side, and straight through on the other.

Between the valves open and valves closed it’s a lovely difference and these B48’s can actually sound really good for a 2.0! With 4” chrome tips it really does look lovely!

Check this out, another custom valved catback made and fabbed up in house 🙌

With these 1.4 and 1.5 tsi models, you can easily delete the middle and backbox for some extra noise without it being over the top loud. That’s because the stock cat on these is quite restrictive so it takes a lot of noise away before it even reaches the rest of the exhaust.

So on this example, valves open will have a nice sporty tone, and valves closed brings it back to stock level. Meaning when you got passengers in the car or you’ve got a banging headache, simply close it and it’s as silent as stock 😂 and for some spirited driving simply open it up 🙌

A45S - known to be the most powerful 2.0 litre production engine! King of the UK hatchback scene?

This one came lovely wrapped 45s came in for some more power 😈 we fitted a Cobra Sport Exhausts downpipe, paired up to a Cobra catback which was present. We then applied our stage 1 tune which took this from an already high 416 bhp to a lovely 480 and from 500 to 620 Nm of torque!

We tweaked for the correct burble style for the customer, he didn’t want it to be over the top and wanted louder crackles than stock. After multiple revisions we found a lovely sweet spot!

This was a pretty quick car tbf! Not fun working on in terms of fitting the downpipe which is at the back of the engine on these 😂

McLaren 540c in da house 🙌🙌🙌

One of our good mates has the pleasure of driving his 540c a couple times a year when it’s not broken and in the garage for yet another warranty repair. But when it is working, this car is insanely quick!

We had the pleasure of tuning it, the ECU is located in the wheel arch, so wheel off, connect via bench and we have access!

Our stage 1 tune takes this from 525 BHP all the way to 620 BHP and from 540 Nm to 700 Nm of torque. With gains like that, it takes a rapid car to new heights 🙌

Me and Andy both had a quick test drive to see what the 540c is capable of and oh boy…. Yeah she’s quick! Super sharp handling, very firm break pedal, and not enough road to really get a good feel of what it’s capable of before you reach… erm.. 70 mph 😂

Another Cupra 290 for some dialing in for our custom stage 1 tune!

We started with fitting a lovely Scorpion Exhausts // Red Power downpipe to this one, once fitted we took it out onto the road for some before tuning logs to ensure car is healthy on stock power.

Once health check passed, we put our tune on and started logging! We finished the tune on 1.6 bar of steady clean boost, tidy wastegate duty, strong high fuel pressure, no ignition withdrawal in the high rpms, throttle valve pinned open throughout and max intake temps of 35 Degrees! Which in result achieved us a healthy 381 bhp and 532Nm of torque!

If we’ve quoted you in the past and mentioned we need to send your ECU, that is no longer the case! We can unlock the ECU within the hour and be tuning straight away! If you’d like afresh quote simply get in touch 🙌🙌🙌
