Yes we do fit second hand parts !
Yes we do supply second hand parts !
But always at the customer’s request!

Seat Leon cupra r ❤️

This one came into us after the customer complained about a slight knocking under load, after the car being dropped off to us we instantly knew what had failed when we heard the noise🥴
After we removed the sump and balance shaft we confirmed our suspicions the engine had spun a shell on 2 rods😑
Customer supplied us a second hand bottom end that we checked over and we’re happy to fit.

What we did…

Supplied and fitted head gasket and bolts✅

Supplied and fitted timing belt and waterpump kit✅

Sump clean carried out✅

Full engine gasket set supplied and fitted✅

All fixed and test driven okay and the customer was more then happy to have his pride and joy back better then ever🫡

Something a little different to our normal vag cars here but a prime example why you should bring your pride and joys to people like us😊

This customer brought his Mini Cooper s to us to have a clutch replacement as his was slipping,
After removing the front end of the vehicle we couldn’t believe what we were looking at🥴. The customer had taken his car to another “mechanic” to have a turbo replacement and well the photos speak for them self, we found
Missing turbo housing clamp❌
Oil return bolt to long❌
Multiple loose bolts❌
Turbo support bracket loose and upside down❌

The customer learnt his lesson with this and had to have a new turbo fitted as we couldn’t let the car leave our garage in this dangerous state,
What we did…
Fit new turbo ✅
Genuine turbo gaskets✅
Genuine input shaft seal✅

This customer came to us via recommendations from other customers. We carried out some maintenance work before he goes to R-Tech Performance Tuning for there stage 2+ package as he was the first uk owner so has no knowledge on the cars life over seas.

What we did …

Supplied and fitted gates timing belt and water pump kit ✅

Supplied genuine timing chain kit ✅

Supplied timing chain gasket✅

Rocker cover gasket ✅

Vis fuel pump internals ✅

Vis motorsport high pressure fuel pump internals a must for R techs stage 2 + package
And finally we carried out a full health check of the car so that

So the other day we had this q7 dropped to us. It belongs to a good friend of ours that’s bought there vehicles to us for many years.

Long story short but this car had been to a well known mapping company in Notts ……(mentioning no names 🤫)

Since going there the car is in constant limp mode it’s been back and forth to the company multiple times and then telling the customer it’s definitely not a map or software issue and the car needs to go to a specialist garage and be diagnosed properly !!!!🥴

So after dropping us the car we had a initial look over it checked the basics and plugged it in using vcds we had no dpf data values and didn’t take us long to realise this is not a mechanical fault!!!

What we did -

Checked dpf ✅
Checked all egt sensors were present ✅
Checked dpf pressure sensor ✅

After realising this wasn’t a mechanical fault we got straight on the phone to our good friends over at CC Tuning

We got the car over to Chris the same day and it didn’t take him long to realise that parts of the map were missing. So stock file loaded then Chris loaded his own file on and car was out of limp mode and back driving how it should 😄

This resulted in our customer and good friend being over the moon and had the car back fault free the very same day !!!
