🔧 Not every head gasket job ends with just a new gasket…

This Defender came into RW4X4 with a suspected head gasket failure. Once stripped down, further inspection revealed damage to cylinder 2, meaning a simple repair wasn’t going to cut it.

✅ Replacement engine block
✅ Cylinder head skimmed
✅ Pressure tested head
✅ Engine rebuilt with new components
✅ Now it’s time to get everything back together and back where it belongs!

We don’t believe in shortcuts. We diagnose the problem properly, carry out the repairs to a high standard, and make sure the job is done right the first time.

This TD5 came into us for a freshen up and left with a long list of upgrades, ready for many more years on and off the road.

✅ New rear crossmember
✅ New suspension, lowered 1” for a cleaner stance and improved handling
✅ 30mm wheel spacers
✅ Chassis treated and painted in Buzzweld 2K WAR for long-lasting protection
✅ Side steps fitted
✅ New bucket seats installed for improved comfort and support
✅ LOF Power spring and slave cylinder upgrade
✅ Plus plenty more attention to detail throughout the build.
