Merriments Cafe and Gardens Mark Compton started Caravan Tech Services in 1987 in his little Bedford Rascal van, servicing caravans and motorhomes across the South East. After many years, Mark's customer base became so large that he needed to move the business forward and when the sit

e at Hurst Green became available (which Mark had worked at as a young man) Mark jumped at the chance and in 1997, Caravan Tech Services and Caravan Tech Sales Ltd at Hurst Green, was formed. Today, the site occupies some two acres of showsite and includes extensive purpose built workshops undertaking caravan and motorhome servicing and repairs. The show site has up to seventy new and used motorhomes and caravans at any one time ensuring that whatever you are looking for, we have something to tempt you. We also have a large shop that sells motorhome and caravan accessories both in store and online

Last Friday, we were pleased to see Mr & Mrs Trundell collect their 2026 Bailey Alicanto Alvor, with handover completed by our colleague Richard.

This Sunday is the Hawkhurst 10K & 5K! 🎉

As proud Lead Sponsor, we're delighted to be supporting this fantastic community event on Sunday 21st June.

Months of planning are coming together, and the Race Village is set to be a brilliant hub of activity from early morning. With children's races, a mass warm-up, and hundreds of runners taking on the 10k & 5K courses, it's shaping up to be an incredible day for participants, supporters and local families alike.

A huge congratulations to the organisers and volunteers whose hard work makes this event possible. We're also thrilled to see our logo featured on the race bibs and gantry banners alongside other valued sponsors supporting the event.

If you're taking part, cheering from the sidelines, or visiting the Race Village, we look forward to seeing you there!

What a weekend at the South of England Show in Ardingly at the beginning of June! 🚐

The weather certainly kept us on our toes, but it didn't stop us from meeting lots of fantastic customers and fellow caravan enthusiasts.

We loved showcasing some of our vehicles, chatting all things motorhomes, caravans and campervans and helping visitors find the right fit for their adventures. Including the Adria Compact Supreme SC 2025 which is currently on sale at £79,995!

It's also been great to welcome so many familiar faces to our showground since the event to explore our full range.

Rain or shine, it’s been a busy and rewarding few weeks for our team as we’ve been out on the show-ground completing handovers. 🚐✨

Richard spent time with Mr and Mrs Lewis handing over the Bailey Unicorn Cadiz 2016, while George handed over the new 2026 Adria Twin Sports 640 SGX to Mr and Mrs Dell.
