JAR is a specialist business run by motor engineers, with generations of knowledge and experience gained working with some of the world’s most prestigious motor vehicles. Located in the South East at Tunbridge Wells and Ashford, JAR cares for a wide varie

ty of vehicles including classic cars, high performance cars, sports and race cars. At our Ashford site, we also have a separate indoor area that can accept most campervans/motorhomes. We believe that both our storage facilities are second to none having been purpose built to an extremely high standard. We are justifiably proud of our first class workshop facility where we maintain, repair and restore our clients’ motor vehicles. The workshop is run by a team of highly skilled motor engineers able to diagnose and rectify mechanical/electrical issues. JAR enclosed car transporters are specifically designed and built to handle specialist and unusual cars such as those that are unusually low, wide, or heavy & those that require sensitive handling. Congratulations to JAR client Mr Gary Bartlett for winning the ‘Motorsports Hall of Fame Award’ at the 2026 Amelia Island Concours with his 1965 Cobra 427 ‘Competition’.
We had the pleasure of being very instrumental in the Recommissioning of CSX3019 in 2023 after nearly 40 years at the Beaulieu Motor Museum. We still look after CSX3019 and look forward to the Cobra coming back to the UK where we will continue to keep this historic, Dry Sump, Holman Moody 7.0 Litre Cobra in top condition.
CSX3019 is currently Dressed in the 1966 ‘Targa Florio’ decals as was run by Ed Freutel and Tony Settember.
