****UPDATE**** Just received a message and they did it and made it to their destination. I never doubted it for a moment - so proud of you - you know who you are 😊

Apologies, not many posts lately due to being super busy. Hopefully, will post an update this week.

However. today I received a message from a student, who passed not long ago and who’s going to have to negotiate the Black Cat roundabout this week on their own for the first time. Needless to say they are a little worried as things change daily on this huge reconstruction.

I am so proud that they felt they could “reach out”. A little chat, update and lots of reassurance I know they will be fine. Will I be at the end of the phone for them - of course, always.

You know who you are - never forget you passed your test for a reason. I believe in you x 🚙

🎉🎉Congratulations Jodi on passing your test first time in Bedford today with just 4 faults and great feedback from the examiner.

Your journey…….. you came to me after having two previous instructors, very low self esteem and convinced you would never be able to pass a test.

Those first few lessons you were so nervous but you never gave up. I’m so proud of you because you have worked incredibly hard in every lesson and today you were rewarded. Thanks also to your parents for their continual support and helping with private practise. I will certainly miss our lessons we’ve had lots of laughs along the way 😊

I know this will be life changing for you and hopefully now you can believe anything is possible if you want it enough.

I know you will be out and about now enjoying your freedom in your car 🚗 - stay safe 🎉🎉

Shout out to “Ashton” today 👏 We were travelling on the A1 motorway, northbound this morning when the police brought all three lanes to a standstill using the rolling roadblock method

Out came the “stinger” equipment on the hard shoulder, only a few vehicles in front of us. We only had to wait a few minutes when one vehicle followed by two police vehicles passed us at high speed on the hard shoulder. First vehicle hit the “stinger”. Assume this was a practise session as it was soon all over and traffic was released.

Great learning opportunity for my student today and thanks Ashton for remaining calm 😊🚔

🌟🌟Star of the week⭐️⭐️

Jay- 👏👏

You have only been with me a very short time but from the minute we met I just knew you were going to be fab to teach😊

Jay, you work so hard during your driving lessons, and even though you feel a little nervous and anxious, (that’s normal and will get easier I promise), you always give it your all.

I’m so proud of how far you’ve come in such a short time, and I know you’re only going to keep getting better. Keep believing in yourself—you’ve got this!

Thank you to your parents as well for trusting me with your journey 😊🚙

With foggy mornings like today, did you know that the automatic lights setting in your car doesn’t always turn on the rear lights in thick, daytime fog? 🚗

Because sensors react to low light (darkness) rather than poor visibility, your car may only activate front daytime running lights, leaving the back of your car entirely invisible to drivers behind you 😬

It’s worth a check before you set off in the morning, and it’s important to manually turn on your headlights to ensure the taillights are on, rather than relying on automatic systems.
