A little insight into how some warranty claims can work in the real world.
Recently, a wet belt on a Peugeot 3008 came into the workshop under warranty. Despite clear signs of deterioration, the warranty provider initially deemed the belt to be “fit for purpose” 😲.
Even with video evidence, it took several rounds of discussions and submissions to make the case. After plenty of back and forth, we were finally able to secure approval for the repair and get our customer safely back on the road.
