🚙💨 On pace with the fast boyz! 🚙💨

It’s feeling brilliant being back on pace with fast crew, hustling with Jepp, Jackson, Moss, Lettis & Wheeler and others… a sure sign we’re going in the right direction. On another day, with slightly different car placement by me, we’d have probably come away from Snetterton with our best results in the championship to date!

But that doesn’t matter, because the pace is there and I want to give a massive shoutout to for putting the work in to get both the car and me there; let’s keep going forwards, we might catch Bliss by the end of the year… someone has to! 🤪😂

I run a small business and that happens mainly in to the time, effort and passion I put into it. I invest my time into developments and money into stock so I can provide the service and skills that I do. Unfortunately I’m having to write this due to the fact some of my customers don’t appear to be paying invoices so it’s getting increasingly difficult for me to continue without taking bigger deposits or payment up front for goods and/or services. This is NOT something I am willing to do but may be forced into it and I must add it’s a minority which are going to spoil it for the majority.

24hour race report

After a tough quali session on the Friday evening left us scratching heads with a P36,we moved onto prep for the race. Late start of 17:30 on the Saturday afternoon gave us plenty of time to get the car serviced and fuelled up.

All four drivers got their first stints out of the way running consistent lap times and good pit stops moved us steadily up the leaderboard until we were sitting in a net P6/7 at around 04:30 Sunday morning only for a rear wheel bearing to fail. The subsequent repairs losing us around 20 laps of track time. All the lads pitched in and got it back
out only for a front bearing to start sounding rough so that was also changed at the next pit stop. Contact with another car saw 495 back in to change a bent suspension arm and a damaged rim.

The rest of the race the car ran ok but was suffering from geometry issues due to the earlier damage so ultimate pace was down.

Drivers all dug deep and brought it home in P38 with a very proud pit crew cheering them home.

Can’t wait for the next outing at Donington Park for the C1 race club 3 hour race.
