We are looking for a new Technician/Fitter to join our team of 2 in a growing business.

Here at J-Tec we mainly specialist in Jaguar, landrover & Ford.
However, while the JLR/Ford side grows, we do work on some other makes and models.

We are looking for technician with ideally Ford, JLR or General good all round experience/interest

MOT licence would be a bonus. but not essential.

Job information

• Work Hours are
Mon-Thurs 8:30am - 5pm
Friday 8:30am - 4pm
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Wage will be decided on experience
• General Servicing & repair work
• Diagnostics & fault finding
• Workshop Upkeep

Another week, another 1.0 ECO BOOST!!

We are seeing a lot more of these lately!
Luckily this customer turned off their engine and called us as soon as the oil pressure light appeared.

Oil pressure light is caused by the wet timing belt starting to fail causing belt particles to block the oil pump.

We advise to be recovered to the garage in this situation.

We then carry out a full inspection to check for wear caused by oil starvation if no damage is found.

We will then fit a new timing belt and oil pump.
