Part time cleaning & ironing. 10-15 hours a week.
Some weekends mainly Saturdays, some Sundays for just 4hours during Summer, all dates times known in advance.
Cleaning house & preparing laundry for a holiday let.
Cleaning Local garage , reception , offices , toilets & washing workshop floors.
Both based in Southwater.
Cleaning Experience required. High standards required to meet Covid protocol, PPE supplied.

It’s been a such difficult year for all!
I would have liked to post some good news, but the year ends with another sad loss.

Unable to pay respects as normal with these awful continuing times , this is a tribute to Stephen Lane-Allman.
A true Gentleman!
Our main Mechanic for many years.
Steve was a big part of Tanbury & will always be remembered for being a happy, caring person, giving over & above normal duty.

We will miss you Steve

Remembering Jack Cottingham our oldest customer he was still driving at 100 & regularly visited us at the garage.
A year ago today a visit to Jack on his 100th Birthday!
Jack passed away earlier this year, we miss his visits & chats.
A real character ❤️

A Sad day for Southwater Garage as we say goodbye to Tans Dad, Bert Spreadbury.

Thank you Dad for giving me the chance to prove myself back in 1991. Allowing me to start my business in your shed in Shipley road, supporting me with work on your vans & for giving me a helping hand fixing cars when needed in the early days.

Dad originally trained to be a mechanic at Rice Brothers in Horsham, but went on to be a Civil Engineer & successful business man.
He moved to Southwater 41 years ago , buying a small semi detached bungalow which he renovated & extended over the years as the family grew.
With the love of horses he soon rented a field close by, now Rascals close.
Dad often fetched the paper or grabbed a pint at the pub on horse back & in later years on his horse & cart.

At 2pm today Bert will take his last journey from Shipley road to his final resting place at Roffey Cemetery, part of this journey will be on Horse & Carriage through Horsham.

RIP Dad ( Bertie )

Salary will be between 22k to 45k depending on experience and qualifications.
As a Vehicle Technician you will be required to undertake all levels of vehicle repairs, from servicing to engine work. Working on your own initiative to carry out and repair from fault analysis to completion. New MOT Changes coming this May 2018.
As from this month cars first registered in 1978 and before will no longer require an MOT.
So we wont see very many classics like this 1960s Mini Cooper coming in for their annual MOT inspection for us to test. The 40 year rule will roll on year on year after that.

Important Changes to the MOT Scheme coming on May,20th, 2018.
