More work done on the Lotus Elan+2!
All repairs have received an intermediate full baking cycle between coats, and have been sealed with epoxy (beige as seen on photos). Additional baking to the epoxy itself, followed by 2K light grey primer.

Next step: choosing the colour and painting! 😁

TVR Tuscan paint correction.

3 stage machine polish carried out using unique nano-ceramic compounds.

Factory paint improved to a lasting haze-free, smooth and flat mirror finish. Imperfections and scratches removed.
Now it matches our front end respray.

TVR Tuscan Mk2 completed. First respray it has ever received since it left the factory in 2006.

All original and very well maintained TVR Tuscan Mk2, one owner from new, in for front end respray to remove stone chips and scratches. Sprayed on 2K epoxy primer and 2K 4+1 black primer so far, as a final coat before paint.

Mercedes W124 E320
Engine overhaul with all new gaskets, seals, and extensive wiring loom work.
Complete overhaul of alternator, tandem hydraulic pump with SLS, all other ancillaries and gearbox service.

Engine is back in the car, running the way it is supposed to.

Next is ABS pump relocation to create space for our custom Carbon Fibre turbo intake manifold prototype.

Underside of the red W124 was steam washed twice to remove the Schultz and Waxoyl, and many hours spent on cleaning back to solid. Glasurit 2k Epoxy primer and specially formulated black polymer applied for maximum corrosion protection, safe even from stonechips.

Subframe bushes replaced with Strongflex polyurethane, control arms replaced with Heavy Duty and 10.9 grade bolts all around.
Fuel and brake lines replaced to the front with CuNiFer - much better than copper and will not rust or oxidise.
Customer had camber issues and premature tyre wear, so we fitted our custom rear camber kit for him.

Do it once and make it last!

A customer’s W124 we repainted 4 years ago - paintwork still looks the same.

The vehicle came in for very much the same procedure as our fluorescent multicolour project.
Many poor previous repairs were uncovered; the last ones done just a year ago by someone.

There were 3” of water where the spare wheel was, and the subframe was held by a crusty waffle!

Schultz was done to cover the nasty repairs, and worst of all Waxoyl on top.

Continuing the restoration!

All suspension components overhauled down to the last nut and bolt.
New bearings, polybush, arms, brakes, etc., painted in our own range of fluorescent neon colours over Glasurit 2K Epoxy primer.

Kunifer brake+ fuel + hydraulic lines sleeved with our industrial grade heatshrink. Guaranteed for life chemical resistance (inc. submerging in saltwater) over the lines and fittings.

Super lightweight cell foam with an aluminium face to replace the heavy factory insulation. With its water resistance, vibration and sound deadening characteristics we know it will ensure extreme comfort.

Next up: front end overhaul and big Brembos!

Mercedes W124 E320

The first project out of our personal collection has begun!

We started with a rusty base which has been stood in a field for over 4 years. The underside has been stripped back to solid, and treated with our Glasurit chromated 2K epoxy primer.

After that it was sealed with a special hybrid rubber polymer to replicate the factory finish with the benefits of 21st century chemistry. It is free of any waxes, oils and silicones and made to be hydrophobic and anti-stick for contaminants.
It will remain soft and rubbery for life, and act as insulation.

The car will have a ground up restoration and some of our custom mods.
A sneak peek of a colour option for it. 😉 😉
