We get asked this all the time – and it’s a good question.

We’re thrilled to share that Lynch Motors has been awarded the Commercial Award at the 2025 Sustainable Boating Awards, hosted by the Inland Waterways Association

The award recognises businesses making a real difference in sustainable boating — and we’re proud to be recognised for our Red Snapper hybrid electric marine drive system, which makes retrofitting electric propulsion to diesel boats affordable, practical, and efficient.

Earlier this year, we were also honoured with the Best Product Award at the Crick Boat Show, the UK’s largest inland waterways festival, and an Innovation Award for our collaborative work with the University of Exeter’s Centre for Future Clean Mobility (CFCM) on next-generation electric boat motors.
