🚂 A bespoke electric drive solution from Lynch Motors

We recently converted this electric land train with a more powerful, purpose-designed Lynch Drive Solution.

The complete conversion was carried out at the Lynch Motors factory, followed by installation and commissioning on site at a Yorkshire theme park.

The upgraded train is now equipped for demanding daily operation:

⚡ Pulling three to four passenger carriages
⚡ Completing up to four circuits an hour
⚡ Operating for 10–12 hours a day during peak season

This project is a great example of how Lynch Motors can design and deliver complete bespoke electric drive solutions for specialist applications—from initial engineering through to installation and on-site commissioning.

🚤 Exciting News from Lynch Motors - We’re Properly Chuffed!

We’re thrilled to share that Lynch Motors has been awarded the Commercial Award at the 2025 Sustainable Boating Awards, hosted by the Inland Waterways Association

The award recognises businesses making a real difference in sustainable boating — and we’re proud to be recognised for our Red Snapper hybrid electric marine drive system, which makes retrofitting electric propulsion to diesel boats affordable, practical, and efficient.
