Italia Autosport is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our small, specialist workshop working on classic and high-performance vehicles.

We are a close-knit team with long-standing clients who entrust us with rare and valuable cars. The workshop is led by John Pogson, whose decades of experience with Ferrari and performance vehicles shape the standards and culture of the business. We operate with traditional values, honesty, pride, craftsmanship and respect for the vehicles in our care.

You know, every now and again it’s good to pause and take stock of what’s happening here at Italia Autosport HQ — and to remind ourselves never to take for granted the trust our clients place in us.

Take this 250 SWB, for example. Raced at Le Mans in the 1960s, it has since been fully restored at the factory and awarded the coveted Ferrari Classiche Certification.

Originally, it was purchased directly from Enzo in Maranello by two Yorkshire brothers, whose mechanic went on to race it at Le Mans. Fascinating, isn’t it? Ring any bells?

With these cars, the storybook is every bit as important as the car itself.

Here are a few photos of it competing in period.

And here it is today at Italia HQ — in for a fuel system repair and receiving some extra attention to detail from our team.
