Vw polo in for high level brake light not working,
light unit tested-ok
Ground- ok
Power-👎
Wireing traced back and fault found, repaired and light unit refitted.
All working and good to go.
It’s great testing wiring when all the wires are the same colour…. yes probe the white one 🥴.

🫣 you may recognise it… yes it’s mine 😂 I even have to fix my own stuff sometimes too.
Finally had a chance to put this on the lift and find the noise,
New genuine lower ball joint fitted.

Today we had this rather nice transporter in for its service and DSG service.

Yesterday was a busy start to our second week back.

Mot repairs on the insignia with two sized rear brake callipers,

Full service, horn wiring repair, underbody protection fitting and some accessory switches adding for the jimny,

Vw golf needed a new front wheel bearing.

And some diagnostic work on a Vw transporter with some low power issues which we have initially concentrated on the boost problems, after a quick inspection we swapped out the control valve with a stock item and have asked the customer to monitor the issue and report back as they needed the vehicle back asap.

So that’s our first week back done. Far from the steady easing back in 😬 it was straight back into the thick of it with a busy week and lots going on. Not much time for photos ect but it was nice to be back in the workshop.

We plan to be back open on Monday 3rd August.

Hi everyone, just a quick update.

Daniel has finally had his spinal surgery and is now at home recovering.

We plan to re open again soon.

Thought we needed to post as we have heard rumours circulating that we have closed permanently BUT this isn’t the case.

Please if you do hear any of these rumours, let people know what’s actually happening.
