2021 Vw crafter we had in for a few jobs, one of which was a charging system fault.
Through carrying out tests the issue was identified and located, the wiring to the alternator completely corroded through. Repair carried out to the wiring loom and now the charging voltage is back to spec.

Bit of time spent on this Renault traffic, the hole in the wing was the tell tale but we didn’t know what was lurking behind it!
Inner wing / arch cut out and replaced, zinc primer and a hard wearing stonechip finish applied.
The bottom half of the wing was cut off and a repair panel made and welded in.
Our customer is dealing with the paint & body side of the repair themself so the repair has been left with a protective primer applied on the wing.

Busy week back at it, along with all the usual jobs here is little view of what we have been up to.

5 days 5 issues.

1. Oil filter deteriorated and braking up due to lack of servicing.

2. Blocked EGR valve causing fault codes and poor running.

3. Excessive emulsified oil build up causing blocked breather system.

4. Air suspension compressor replacement.

5. Excessive oil consumption, investigation found oil contaminated with metal particles indicating internal wear/damage.
