My passion for cars started at a young age, I used to watch my dad work on his cars and helping where I could, bare in mind I was probably about 3 years old and by helping I mean cleaning the car with a scourin

g pad but that’s definitely a story for another day! My first car was a Nissan Micra k11, I have had many cars since then and they were all modified and repaired over the years by myself. I got hooked on minis back in 2017 when I brought my girlfriend a liquid yellow r50 from a local car auction, at this point I’ll add never buy a car without looking properly... let’s say it need a “Few” repairs! Shortly after that I was looking for a Mini R53 the supercharged version of the R50 and found a really nice 2004 facelift in hyper blue with all the specs I wanted. The strip down began with a full service inc the supercharger, hoses, oil seals coolant change and some nice performance extras AP coilovers, Airtec intercooler and induction. This was the start of some major modifications and a few years on I’m still doing bits but check out my album of my own car to see where it is now. I found more and more people were coming to me for advice and this soon turned into gatherings around my house to fix cars in the evenings, I soon started to run out of space so it was time for a nice big unit and hyper works garage was created. As the first generation minis are aging there are often lots of maintenance items that are overlooked but also items you might not think of.

One major one that is overlooked is the rubber fuel hose section in the engine bay.

25 years of heat cycles, General rubber aging, Rodent damage and Incorrect modifications causing chafing is beginning to cause major issues resulting in engine bay fires.

Due to the fuel hose placement in the engine bay it is subjected to heat from the exhaust manifold often with missing heat shields, once it splits thats it generally, all your hard work and time is gone within seconds.

THIS IS THE SOLUTION! Not only is it the least time consuming its also way cheaper than the factory alternative of replacing the entire line back to the fuel filter assembly.

Available to purchase through ebay and available worldwide through the global shipping program, there are currently 100s of minis in the UK, USA, AUSTRALIA and more that are running tried and tested upgrade.

Fully hand built in house with trusted fittings, rubber, steel and nylon braided hose its designed to last and they are also customisable to run sensors such as flex fuel,are fully ethonal compatible and available in custom sizes and end fittings for engine swaps such as k series or nuke fuel rails.

From the start to the end on this one, although we all know its never quite the end with modifications!

I originally purchased this pepper white r53 in around late 2021- early 2022 took some pictures on the way home and sold it before pulling out the layby!.

This was a guy new to minis being his first r53 and after coming along to a few shows all hell broke loose and the modifications began 😆.

3 years its been in my unit and have built up parts pile and done a decent amount on it each year.

Today was the day it finally left the unit and what a day to be taking your car for a drive 😁 i was as exited as the customer to see him drive it away!

Theres such a huge list of parts that have ended up on this car but ill let the pictures do the talking, even the unit has changed somewhat from the days I had no ramps, then one ramp now two this car has been here all the time.

Its nearly Friday guys and what a beautiful example of an R53 to almost finish the week off with!

I sold this to Gareth maybe 3 years ago now and although it was already a stunning car with around 34k miles its really been taken to the next level with some stunning oem John cooper works extras.

Now rocking around with a new LUK clutch, oem radiator and foam and an oil and filter change plus all the usual seals associated with those jobs.

Also given it it the yearly pre show season clean and check over! Check out the pictures 😍

Also to my excitement I found one of the back gearbox bolts loose, no witness marks on the gearbox and the way the bolt has aged at the top compared to the others shows its most likely been like this since factory. You would be surprised how many come in for a clutch with this one loose or missing!

Keep an eye out for this one at shows it really doesn't disappoint 😁

Also check out the current project car, grs intercooler with a custom oil cooler, flex fuel sensor with a custom bracket and one of my replacement fuel lines adapted to suit, lots going on with this one so will post up everything once its done 🤩

Finally I did something on my car after what feels like forever but got the nitrous hooked back up, mounted it on top of the inlet manifold this time to make everything easier to access, getting those little 4mm nylon pipes to look tidy was fun 😆

Woken up from hibernation and 2026 show season preparations are under way!

Starting slightly earlier this year so I can do it on evenings and weekends so nothing gets interrupted in the daily schedule.

Cracked on with some small jobs today but major bits will start after my current customer project build is finished 😁

The list so far:

✅️ ️Fit anthracite hk door cards

✅️Replace boot struts

✅️ Sand and lacquer carbon bonnet scoop

Fit front powder coated subframe

Fit rear powder coated subframe

Fit rear powder coated r56 trailing arms

Fit adjustable rear anti roll bar

Fit upper rear adjustable arms

Fit rear calipers R56

Paint rear callipers

Adjust drivers seat height

Install nitrous foggers to new position on the Intake manifold

Install custom carbon intake duct

Adjust exhaust so its more central

Spray airtec intercooler pipes to match supercharger horns

Lubricate: door hinges, sun roof rails, boot latch, door latches, steering column uj, door bowden cable
