MGF in for metal work repairs,

passenger outer sill replaced with panels made in house and front spare wheel well rot cut out and replaced, all metalwork treated with Bilt-Hamber Laboratories hydrate-80 and primered ready for the paint shop to finish it off

Had a MK2 golf in with some gearbox/clutch issues,

After removing the gearbox I found the clutch to be in perfect order however the clutch release bearing had collapsed causing the clutch issues, the gearbox had all seals replaced while removed to eliminate all age related leaks of oil, new clutch release bearing and pushrod, new gearbox end cap, all rebuilt and reinstalled.

Had this 1.8 20vt converted Vw lupo gti in for a couple of modifications,

Custom made aluminium boost hose fabricated to avoid the front chassis rail that the original was rubbing on, all made a lot easier with the icengineworks™ kit to help get all the bends in the right places, finished off using CERAKOTE® UK C series coating

Also fabricated a new exhaust section in, the original had no flexi or catalytic converter, so made a bolt in section from stainless steel, comprising of both the new flexi and MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust 200 cell sports cat to keep the emissions mot worthy

Had this tidy MK1 Vw caddy in with a few concerns from its owner,

Heavy fuel smell from the engine bay and cabin and coolant temps running high, customer purchased the caddy with the 1.8 20vt pre installed so wanted it going over,

Fuel smell was caused by the genius who installed silicone lines for the fuel supply and return🤦‍♂️, all replaced using Racinglines stainless steel with cotton over braid fuel hose and fuel filter moved to the rear near the tank to help tidy up the engine bay,

Larger 14” cooling fan installed along with radiator temp switch replaced which kept the temperature down much more efficiently,

Multiple vac lines replaced and rerouting of multiple other lines once again to help tidy up and declutter the engine bay

Another job from quite a while ago, this stunning defender 110 V8 in for a few upgrades for DT Performance Cars Ltd

Job list consisted of:
- rear step removed, cleaned and new material welded in to place
- fold out side steps installed
- rear fold out seats installed using supplied rear tub panels and in house custom made seatbelt brackets colour matched to the vehicle
- sound deadening installed to keep the cabin nice and quiet

I was made aware I haven’t actually done a workshop update in over a year and a half🤦‍♂️ so I have a year and a half worth of work to post😂

Kicking the updates if with this uber cool Audi R8 LMS car that was in Signs and Graphics UK ltd having its livery work done, I was asked to repair and refinish the engine lid plexiglass and headlights, due to age and racing it had yellowed and marred up, eventually got it looking good as new👌

Newest member of staff in the workshop! 🐶

Everyone meet Brian!
He is in charge of the new customer welcoming department😂

He is incredibly calm and always wants fuss so if you are coming in be prepared to be treat taxed upon entry to the workshop,

With him being here every day the front door to the workshop will be locked at all times as he is not yet trained off the lead, so if you are popping down there will be a door bell to ring to get my attention!

I will be getting a tonne of recent work updates sorted and posted soon too, put simply it’s been a whirlwind first few months of the year!

All fitted up just in time for the customers planned road trip!!

Here is Vw lupo that was booked in for supply and installation of a fresh set of coilovers and new set of nicely teamed up with the finest rubber from once all setup and completed it left driving and looking ten times better than when it arrived!!

Chevy C10 pickup I had in a while ago for
For some reason I never posted it🤦‍♂️

This big ol yank tank had a couple of issues that needed sorting to get it out on the road and a touch more reliable,

The exhaust headers where blowing pretty bad so the header gaskets where replaced and a few header bolts snapped upon removal so they where drilled out, threads cleaned/re tapped and bolts replaced using , another issue was the alternator tensioner bracket was snapped on the lower half preventing the alternator from efficiently tensioning the belt causing poor charging, new bracket made coated and fitted back up!
