Three times British Hill Climb Champion enters one more time

We must be doing something right since Martin Bolsover is returning again in 2026 for the third time. Martin is no stranger to mountains since he won the British Hill Climb Championship three times, driving a 1.6 Pilbeam‑Hart BDA MP51. He held the titles for three successive years (1982-1983-1984). He was also well known for holding the sportscar record at Shelsley Walsh for twenty years, finally losing it to Nic Mann in 2004.

Martin was awarded the prestigious Autosport Award for "British Club Driver of the Year" in both 1982 and 1983.

He will be navigated by his wife Nicky and they will be driving a 2011 Mercedes SL 6-3 AMG.

Deja Vu Monte Carlo 2026.
I'm delighted to receive Julie and John Eaglen's entry in their 1958 MGA 1500. They live in Tarragona, Spain.
The heat and altitude of Mount Ventoux got the better of the MG this year but with a new a better radiator they plan to slay the dragon next May.

Deja vu Monte Carlo, May 26 - 30, 2025.

I've been working on the route for next year's event and I think that you will like what I've come up with for Day 2. Many of you will know about the majestic Mont Ventoux and will remember famous photos of the hillclimb in the 60s.

Tom Simpson Memorial at the top of Mt. Ventoux.
He hadn't far to got to the top but he collapsed and later died in attempting to win a stage on the Tour de France. It took many years before another Englishman achieved that supreme feat.

No, it's not the moon but the lunar landscape is at the top of Mont Ventoux which I'm planning to include as part of the route for the next Deja vu MC in May 2025.
